A question on POF-

Does provident fund was part of total amount to be shown or was it added extra amount rather than liquid amount as required?

What proof you used for PF?

Few things noteworthy about my app -

1. I sent additional documents which were received by Mike on May 24th. I forgot to fill my name in native language in my original app.

2. I used Employee Provident Fund as POF

3. I got a reference letter from my manager on the company letter head.

4. For the reference letter of my previous company I had used the NOC description from 2173 and 2174 merged the ones which are applicable to me and used the sentences as is. No change.

1) We do not yet have evidence that the additional docs were counted. This is because native language name is not a big deal any ways.

2) Regarding the job description we have found that it is actually checked in details after fee charged and before PER.

can you confirm what all details you mentioned while sending additional documents.

Yup, I have that and the code.
What confuses me is the "NOC category" beloww FSW.
So there's nothing to write after the words "NOC Category"?

No. It's NOC Category as opposed to PhD or arranged employment.

My application reached its destination on 14th of July. I am applying under the NOC (civil engineer - 2131).

Can you help me to understand what will be the next step. I am checking my credit card statement every days since but I have heard somewhere that, it might take up to 60 days before they charge my card (if they ever do)

Anyone can share ideas about the procedure now?

1) if my credit card is charged, does it mean that i am in the game? Or what does it mean?
2) if it is never charged, am i out? when should i lose hope totally?

Thanks a lot..any idea shared is hugely appreciated

Hello Seniors, my first post. I have a title of Software Engineer (2173) in my company but my responsibility and job description is for 2174. Do I need to worry about this since there is a discrepancy between my title and Job description?

No need to worry abt this. Ur job description matters. If you're sure ur job description matches 2174, then file for 2174. They consider the job descriptions and not the job title.

A4 or bigger which can carry your docs...

For labels - they should not be stickers...just type your address in MS-word that covers approx. half A4 sheet that is a label

I just checked ECAS is working fine and my application status is In Process.

My status is also In Process... but I need that PER e-mail before I relax.

GOOD NEWS -

Many might recognize me. I am sorry to be away since a month from this forum.

As you know, I had applied for Student visa after FSW application and many said it will get rejected because of the below obstacles :

1) Already a masters degree holder and still going for PGDM
2) Already applied for immigration through FSW.

But my strong SOP helped me get a student visa today
I will be flying to Toronto within a month for a 8 months course, and by the time I complete it, I am expecting my FSW PR to be on its final stage.

As you are aware, I rejected UK work visa with this plan to come to India and apply for canada.
I am feeling so happy to see the 1st dream to be true.

FSW applied on 13th May under NOC 2132 (Mechanical guy) 8)


I wish everyone to get their PRs and pray for me too.
I will continue to co-ordinate and be in touch on this Forum from Toronto, and get the latest insights for all.

You have a minimum of 2 months to wait before anything will happen. Stay tuned on this forum to see when July 14 applications begin to get charged.

Getting charged is a good sign that you are moving on but not a guarantee. To know you are moving on you have to wait for your PER e-mail which typically comes 2-3 weeks after charging.

You asked for a letter matching 1112 even though your actual work experience didn't match it? That is a misrepresentation and is a serious offense. Do not do such a thing again.

Both 0013 and 1111 are eligible NOCs this year. Both of them are filling up much more slowly than 1112. If you can get an HONEST letter showing at least 1 year of continuous full-time experiencein either NOC, I suggest doing so and applying under one of those NOCs.

The problem is that it is possible that CIC has a record of your former application, since they opened it and evaluated it to determine whether you made the pass mark. Nobody really knows whether they keep full records of all applications even those rejected at an early stage. But if they do, it's going to look very bad that your employer's letter last year stated duties for 1112 and now states duties for a different NOC.

If you have a different employer that can give you an HONEST letter for an eligible NOC that doesn't contradict a letter you sent with your previous application I suggest going with the different employer. If you have no choice but to send a contradictory letter, you'll just have to take your chances.
