Again Tnx for your reply.Actually i took bank solvency certificate from jamuna bank on 19th june. This one is not more than 30 days.
Does VO check my account through bank in any stage of file processing???

Brother,

Before PER, usually CIC does not take verification from the banks ...

So u may proceed with that certificate, and in between fill up the required fund on to the acc....

That will be ok....:)

Pls throw some light on this PER email..
is PER email meaning diff. than it tells u that ur application is forwarded to VO for further check? or is it the confirmation that VO has clear ur application for next level of Medicals and PP..??
Sorry if my question fees like repetative but i am confused here :-(
PERS notifications confirms to you that your application has been positively assessed at the application stage and that you have found to satisfied set down by the Minister of Citizenship,Immigration and Multiculturalism and that you have received determination of the eligibility to be processed for your NOC duties.
PERS also confirm that your payment has been received and give you your receipt No.
The PERS email further tells you that your final selection is going to be determined by a visa office.
CIC will surely forward your your application package to the visa office you mentioned in your generic form and depending on your local visa office,an acknowledgement of receipt (AOR) will be sent to you to signify that it has been received.
Summarily and technically,PERS mail does not confirm to you that VO has cleared you up for your next level of medicals and PP...it only telss you that CIC in canada has passed your application fir to be transfered to your VO for further processing.
I hope you are now cleared.
Cheers.

Yes VO do check with banks.

Even though banks are not entitled to confirm balance to a third party , they may confirm whether you have account or not.

Also VO may ask for 6 months bank statement at a later stage of processing.

Thanks.

2. Wait for your CC/DD charged.. CC guys will get the info on their SMS.. For DD you need to go to Bank who issued the DD
3. Wait for PER
4. Wait for AOR
5. Wait for PCC (if not submitted), any other required document (discretion of VO) and MR
6. Wait for Passport Request after submitting 5.
7. Wait for passport with stamped PR Visa
8. Wait for the day for which you book the ticket to Canada..
9. Wait for the aircraft to land..

After 6. its in your hand...and its upto you how much you want to wait..

I have a question wrt Proof of funds. As we don't necessarily park money in Savings accounts and have invested in properties, we are now in a dilemma wrt to what to show as proof of funds... We (my husband and I) have substantial amount in our provident funds, for which we are able to download the PF statements. As per the Govt of India EPFO office this fund can be withdrawn on leaving job (which would be the case when u are immigrating) and same would be settled in approximately a month's time without tax deductions as the PF is accumulated on continuous work for more than 5 years.

In that case, doesnt this fall under the category of unencumbered proof of funds?
