Hi,

My employer is not ready to give work reference letter, so I'm planning to get it from my supervisor. Should I take my supervisor's affidavit in Stamp paper or it can be in a white plain paper and get notarized.

This is fine, just attach your supervisor's call card if available and include a cover letter stating that it is against your employer's HR policy to provide such reference letter. With this, you are good to go

Both. First a preliminary review by CIO then a detailed check and recalculation by VO.

Yes you can do that... But there should be some law against these employer's... We are not asking for any hike.. just want the letter with our roles, responsibility and working hours with our own designations.. That's why Canada or US is good.. They have proper labour law..

I don't think it is going to take 30 days from now... The reason is that currently CIC is working on 7th and 8th May.. 8th May is not huge.. so by next 2 weeks 8th and 9th May should get over.. Over means CC charging and DD encashing..not PER.. and next one is 12th because 10th and 11th was weekend

So.. after 30 days you should have PER hopefully if you are a 12th May applicant...

Dear member,
If someone applied in wrong NOC but his job role is much suited to another NOC. then what CIC does , send it back to applicant or they transfer file to another NOC.

i have applied to NOC 0013 but it seems my role much suited to NOC 0111.

Please give your expert advise. should I apply to NOC 0111 now without getting refusal from CIC.

Hi,

Its not looking very good from here. Your application will be assessed on the basis of the intended NOC you have mentioned on the application.

In the event of mismatch of duties with your stated NOC, a comparison with other NOC's is highly unlikely.

Hi, CIO is still processing May 7th and May 8th applicants, it appears a lot of the applications from early birds arrived CIO at this time. Have some patience as May 12th turn will come soon enough. It could be late July or earlier, no one knows. All the best as you wait

Dear Friend, They only got started with 8th, so both May 8th and 9th put together will take them about 3.5 to 4 weeks, i.e. nearly a month. BY NO MEANS can May 8th and 9th be done with in mere 2 weeks. I guess we'll know in due time though, as this is just estimation basis data available with us on the spread sheet. BTW, May 8th and 9th together is equal to (78 + 58) 136 which is not that far off from that of May 7th alone i.e. 153 basis data on the spread sheet. Cheers!

PS - The first fee charges for May 7th happened on Jun 9th so this is similar to what has been reported for May 8th guys on Jul 4th. But May 7th will continue this entire week as well, since about 35 folks from May 7th are still pending.

As now the work is in progress for 7th and 8th ...similarly I am sure that after 2 weeks the work will be in progress for 9th and 12th...offcourse with some backlog of previous days.. As per the original question after two weeks we should atleast see 1 or 2 12th May CC charged...

My application reached CIC on 27th May and I have not inlcuded my PCC from US or anywhere along with my application.

The question is what is the right time to apply for US PCC? Should I apply for it now or just wait until my CC is charged or wait until I receive a AOR from NDVO or should I wait until NDVO requests me for PCC?

I have applied under NOC 1112 and my file reached CIC on May 28th. My only query is that I should be within the cap of 1,000 applications?? Just wanted to ask this since NOC 1112 is one of the fastest filling categories.

Please advise I need to provide police certificate for Switzerland to CIC, they have two options digital or paper version of certificate I do not see any requirement of selecting a particular one on CIC website, can I select the digital one as it costs less and easy to receive with in couple of days and then print it out and send it to CIC.

Though the following is written on their website for digital certificates.

Important: The digitally signed electronic extract is only valid and verifiable in electronic form.

That's why the extract must be transmitted in electronic form to an employer or to an authority in electronic form so it can be verified by the receiver.

The extract will not be delivered on paper a second time!

Please note that digitally signed electronic extracts are not invariably accepted. Check with the requesting person or authority first.

You should apply for US PCC at the earliest because it takes 6-8 weeks to get the report from them. You should have it ready when the NDVO asks for it.
