Folks Received updates that 8th CC charged.... What about DD? Any 8th DD charged??

I have a question wrt Proof of funds. As we don't necessarily park money in Savings accounts and have invested in properties, we are now in a dilemma wrt to what to show as proof of funds... We (my husband and I) have substantial amount in our provident funds, for which we are able to download the PF statements. As per the Govt of India EPFO office this fund can be withdrawn on leaving job (which would be the case when u are immigrating) and same would be settled in approximately a month's time without tax deductions as the PF is accumulated on continuous work for more than 5 years.

In that case, doesnt this fall under the category of unencumbered proof of funds?

Yes, PF can be showed as settlement fund.

Before PER, usually CIC does not take verification from the banks ...

So u may proceed with that certificate, and in between fill up the required fund on to the acc....

That will be ok....

My employer is not ready to give work reference letter, so I'm planning to get it from my supervisor. Should I take my supervisor's affidavit in Stamp paper or it can be in a white plain paper and get notarized.

My position at my present employer is Lecturer (in foreign country)

Will there be any problem as I am applying under NOC 4011

Only University Lecturer is applicable or Asst. Professor also comes in the same category.

Yes you can do that... But there should be some law against these employer's... We are not asking for any hike.. just want the letter with our roles, responsibility and working hours with our own designations.. That's why Canada or US is good.. They have proper labour law..

Dear member,
If someone applied in wrong NOC but his job role is much suited to another NOC. then what CIC does , send it back to applicant or they transfer file to another NOC.

i have applied to NOC 0013 but it seems my role much suited to NOC 0111.

Please give your expert advise. should I apply to NOC 0111 now without getting refusal from CIC.
