Please bear in mind very rough calculations.

From spreadsheets apps received date and status tab, assuming they are complete with 7 May.

From 1 May to 7 May is 287 applications.

47 working days - 2 public holidays = 45 days

287 / 45 = 6.37 per day.

I calculated the same thing. I assumed that they did 287 + lets assume 20 from may 8th? So i got 7 aplication from forum per day. My application was received on 3rd of Jun meaning that 870 applicants from forum are before me (from May 8th to Jun 3rd). With this rate i will be informed in almost 6 months (125 working days). That can not be true! Is there any logical reason why they were so slow other than world cup?

I have no info abt ur specific query, but check ur ECAS status now (if u have UCI). CIC updated ECAS status 4-5 hrs ago (yes on Sunday!)

harsh4nature Failed to prove 67 points, got 66 points instead, self declared main duties not accepted by CIC

only 3 persons in spreadsheet of 8th may whose payments were charged!.......I think with this speed it will take next whole month get thru 8th may applicants.......still they are going thru 7th may applicants........extremely slow speed as compared to last year!

From all of their posts, none give any indication that money was refunded. For some, package was even not returned. But reiterates again, it only happens only once out of 100 times.

I sent an original ECA report last year. My application was rejected and they didn't return my application package nor refunded my fee.

I'm applying again this year and I am wondering if I need to send again an original ECA or a copy would be enough(with a letter explaining that they didn't return my application last year containing the original ECA).

My application was received 27th may. In my NER does not mentioned about refund. Will I get a refund in this stage? Any info guys?

Chronological ECAS history of rejection

OK. Let me clear the confusion:

01. My application was received by CIO on 6 June 2013 (as per DHL proof of delivery)

02. My CC was charged on 20 August 2013 (I got sms from my bank)

03. I got my UCI number from CIC over the phone on 26 August 2013.

04. On 31 August I was able to login to ECAS. It showed: "In Process". On clicking "In Process", it showed: "We received your application for permanent residence on June 6, 2013."

05. On 4 September 2013, I sent an email to CIO for status check.

06. On 29 September 2013, i got a reply from CIO regarding my email. It mentioned my application number as E000XXXXXX. It said that my file is currently awaiting review by an officer. The email was signed off by "JT, Client Service Unit, CIO, Sydney, NS, Canada."

07. On 12 October 2013, I logged in ECAS in the morning and it only said like before: "In Process".

08. On 12 October 2013, I logged in ECAS in the evening and it said: "DECISION MADE". When I clicked on this, it had three lines inside:

We received your application for permanent residence on June 6, 2013.

We started processing your application on October 9, 2013.

A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.

Hey what about the hot Eugenie Bouchard of Canada playing all the way up to the finals of the Wimbledon. Now that is surely a more happening news in CIO office. All the younger guys like Mike not coming to pick up packages from the mail room trying to get a glimpse of Eugenie all day, haha. You know what I mean!!! LOL!!!

Indeed, most people missing another reason, Wimbeldon could a bigger reason since Canadian players reached in semifinals and finals in men singles, women singles and in doubles as well.

Federer had probably had last great chance today to win, lost close match.. Heart breaking

It will suffice without any issue....

Its a good form of POF.........other property is not mandatory...

Anyhow property is not part of settlement funds, its asset. FD certificate will be enough to prove settlement funds + if u have any amount in saving account.

It is a joke someone used last month here, i just recyled it . But something must be happening, last year based on spreadsheet things were going much faster... Or am i mistaken?
