The next thing to factor in is the decrease in application counts over time. Remember when the Caps opened on May 1st several people like me were waiting with ECA and IELTS ready and therefore what we see is a surge in applications for this reason between May 6th to May 14th or so (many of us were waiting until May 1st EOD, so as to post our applications on May 2nd morning after ensuring that CIC has not changed any of the application forms). Eventually, after a point in time, the data should show the average applications per day to settle down at a reduced level in comparison with the early May peak levels.

PS - Basis data just revised, I notice the # of applications continue to drop substantially from about an average of about 26 or so for May 15th to 26th period to about 12 or so for Jun 18th to 26th period (and an even worse, average of about 7.5 applications, for Jun 24th to 30th).

@ Dmitry : The forum applicants charged in 1112 category as at 30th June are 24 in number,therefore the % of forum members representing the worldwide applicants in this category increases to 21%. In that case, I believe people still have a month or so to apply safely.

@ Oscar 7 : If what you say is correct, it is somewhat near to what Dmitry claims. (25~24)

Hello Friends, as of know I thought my application was bullet proof, but know I just realized I forgot to include the self-addressed mailing labels along with my application.

Is this a certain cause of rejection?

Please let me know, I'm really worried and would like to know in case I might get ready to submit another application.

The mailing labels shouldn't be a problem. I applied for FSWP in 2013 and forgot the same but my application was returned due to CAP already being reached. It had a note explaining this reason and the forms also had UCI handwritten on it.

So hopefully that shouldn't be the reason...

Hello All,

We are hiring a consultant for the immigration procedures . All of what we did up-till now is that we sent the bachelor certificates to the WES (World education services) center in toronto and got a reference number to get their acceptance on our education certificates . We still waiting for some documents as well as the IELTS score to send our file. I think we will be able to send the file with all our documents by 5/8/2014. Will there still be a room for us to be accepted in the FSW 2014 ???!!! because from the debate over here I think we are so late although the noc we are aiming at isn't hot (Safety Specialist) (claimed to have accepted 2 till now under this category).

Also what credible link shall I check to know about the number of accepted applications till now .

I guess you are sarcastic about being safe. I really need to know if we still have a real chance to catch the FSW 2014 if we attempted sending the all documents by 5/8/2014 ?!!!. The main obstacle is that we need to get a police certificate from other country rather than ours where we stayed in for 6 years and the procedures through the embassy would be finished by this date. I really need to know please

CGI Houston asking for Original Passport

Hello!

Has anyone in USA got a Police Clearance Certificate from CGI. I have applied for one from Houston and they called me stating they have received a clearance and need my original passport. I am skeptical in sending my original passport to them. Can they not just send a Clearance Certificate Letter.
Do they stamp on the passport.

Please share your experiences.

If they need one for issuing PCC, you will have to send it. There is always an option of applying in person if you want to save yourself from mailing it.

I am also in the same boat. Got a call from them to mail the original passport. We have to sent the original password for pcc.

I take it that:
1- You don't trust others.
2- This immigration means the world to you.

Now I wasn't being sarcastic at all and shared the link, as well, for clarity. There are 25,000 seats to be filled and right now about 6,000 applications have only reached CIC at a maximum. If I may ask, where are you guys from? Applying for NOC 2263 I am guessing?

Plus, most importantly, police certificates can be sent later. It is not mandatory to send it with the initial application. I didn't send mine yet (though my application reached May 7th) since I also needed to get it from a country that I lived in, for about 6 years as well.

Your NOC should be safe until December as well. It should be one of those NOCs that will not get full, like many other NOCs this year. It is likely that 25,000 seats might not fill completely this time around (which would be a shame).

I agree. ..no need for PCC now if it will take time. ..just include a cover letter stating that you will be supplying it to the VO at a later date...

If you're worried about CAP then send in your application ASAP but at the same time making sure it is as complete as possible and as error free as possible

Also please note that nobody here can give you a definite one million percent guarantee that you'll meet the CAP...we all are guessing based on how many members in this forum report their NOCs plus the CAP updates published by CIC....bottom line: if you want it apply fast

Hmm just be careful about that because CIC has requested the original copy of the PCC letter and if this is in the passport then how will you send the original to CIC?

I am a non-citizen / non-PR living in USA, and I just requested it directly from FBI, I got it in a few weeks and was able to include the original PCC letter when I sent my application to CIC.

You can send your application without the police clearance certificate. Why take chance and waste time on something that can be provided later.

They just stamp the passport, not stamp the letter on the passport. There's a difference!

Ahh I see, I was just responding to what Amirali claimed above - "stamping our passports for a PCC", I haven't gone through that route so not sure how it works.
