Don't worry, none of the 7th May applicant has received PER email, however, if u have UCI from previous app most probably ur status has changed to "In-Process: App received on 7th May". I think some of the 6th May applicants are also waiting for PER email.

From what I understood is that they would be stamping our passports for a PCC. I have never heard of it. I was thinking that they may issue a PCC or a letter which we can send it to CIC.

Of course they will be issuing you a separate police certificate. Passport is for verification.

Other folks (talking about FBI) are mistaken I believe that a US PCC is being asked. CGI will give an Indian PCC.

Correct me if I am wrong.

CGI will stamp one of the pages on the passport which indicates the date of PCC issued, applicant's name and immigration country name. They will also issue PCC on consulate letterhead with consulate's signature and stamp.

Dont submit the PCC in your application.. You can submit it later.. same thing i am going to do..

I guess you are sarcastic about being safe. I really need to know if we still have a real chance to catch the FSW 2014 if we attempted sending the all documents by 5/8/2014 ?!!!. The main obstacle is that we need to get a police certificate from other country rather than ours where we stayed in for 6 years and the procedures through the embassy would be finished by this date. I really need to know please

Makes sense. PCC being a miscellaneous service needs to have an entry on the passport. Although PCC itself will indeed be a separate certificate.
