Congrats, Amar!!! :) And best wishes for the next steps!!!

Just for clarity of everyone, a DD with no expiry date here only means there was no expiry date "printed" on the DD which is typical of HDFC issued DDs in India that are valid for a period of 6 months. Yes these DDs have an expiry date of 6 months, as confirmed by HDFC guys dealing with foreign currency DDs.

Thanks Oscar7, HDFC doesn't paste any stamp or date of expiry but yes it is understood that if there is no expiry on DD then it is valid for 6 months if it is foreign currency DD

I just use my filing number in our 2006 application to check my current application. I believe, CIC will just use one number per applicant regardless of how many times we applied. ;)

Congrats..
Just curious to know if you mentioned that you filed in 2006 and entered your old UCI or CIC was able to find your UCI using your details...

Well.... In that case shold I consider that 23 applicants of 2132 category have been given PER..???
They may not yet all have received PERS....but they will soon receive PERS because they have been charged and processed.
Cheers.

Hi indresh83. Just checked today (june 30) the updated status of my ecas. Application received May 7 1:47pm by mike.

My bank can't check when DD was encashed, so we just check our ecas daily eventhough the ecas said that it will update its website weekly usually every tuesday. But fortunately, mine was changed today. =)

Hey Dmitrych, just an observation . All NOCs that are medicine related (doctors-all specialities, surgeons, radiologists, oncologists- the list is EXTENSIVE- specialist physicians include all areas of medicine under the sun). Now, like WES for us, they have to get their degrees assessed by an organization as well (MCC perhaps, am forgetting the name). This organization takes 120 days for assessment as per their website. Moral of the story: we have not seen doctors applying as yet, i guess because of the assessment lead time. So, could it be possible that a deluge of medicine related applicants may start around august- september, that may cause a sharp increase towards filling the overall cap sooner than anticipated? ( like for 217x and 111x in May). Your thoughts?

Not necessarily.
Most professional that falls into these NOC categories are far more comfortable in their country and as such, will not apply too much.
Some applicant also takes up to three months to complete their ECA so I believ there won't be sharp increase in these NOCs....In fact, they may not get to half way before the end of the program.
Cheers.

@Oscar7

Congratulations on yesterday win

Partner Oscar, elaborate response as usual. + 1. But i following queries

1. Y u have included ur car in the category of immovable assets????

2. As my car is a movable asset, may i include it as part of POF? :-X :-[ What if i plan to take my car along, u know give landing by driving? :o

Oscar7 said:

Car(s), house or any land (including agricultural land) or any immovable assets that you can't quickly liquidate (lol, read right away) and take with you to Canada don't count towards settlement funds. Good luck!

Congrats to all applicants receiving Payment conformation and PER...

best wishes for a happy journey towards achieving all milestones of processing at the earliest .

Hi Guys,
