I think this is what he meant. Manila office handles FSW from:

Caroline Islands, Guam, Japan, Johnston Atoll, Korea (Republic of), Kosrae, Marianas, Marshall Islands, Micronesia, Midway Island, Northern Mariana Island, Pacific Islands, Palau (Belau), Philippines, Ponape, Truk Island, Wake Island, Yap Island

I guess he lives in Japan or South Korea, where he should indicate Manila as VO not seoul or tokyo.

lolz now it seems they are also following teh global spreadsheet made in this forum by veterans 8)

Original affidavit only. Also give a cover letter why BC has not been attained.

I am planning to apply for FSW under NOC 2133. Self-calculated points are 67+ depending on what I get in my IELTS. I've a couple of questions.
1) The first step is to get the ECA done by WES. Will WES assess my credentials and send it directly to CIC or should I do it?
2) Booked my IELTS general next month (too bad they don't take IELTS academic). Should I send the original TRF to CIC or ask IELTS to send a report directly?
3) What else do I need before I can apply for FSW 2014? PCC? Medicals? Proof of Funds?
4) Do the work experience letters have to be current or just certified copies of the originals?
5) What is this PER thing I keep reading about? What happens once I lodge an application with CIC? When are the application fees deducted and how much?
6) What's the current processing time for NOC 2133 applicants?
7) If I get a PR how long will I have before I activate it?

Sorry for the long list of novice questions but I am bit confused about the whole process.

Hi,

1. Your WES package will include a cover letter, two copies of original assessment report. Send one of the originals with your application

2.Send the original TRF, retain photocopy for your own record

3.PCC, Medicals all will be requested at a later stage. For the time being follow the checklist: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5612E.pdf

4.copies only. Originals may be requested later by your local VO

5.PER=Positive eligibility review. You may receive the PER email if your application is complete and within the cap

6. Depends on your local VO

7.Did not understand your query

Thanks

My info is in the sheet. PER received on June 5. ECAS only has 1 line, "... received on May 2"

Frnd,

Can u pls share "received on may 2 showing when you click underlined area in process" or straight to your name on status column received on may 2.

My application received on 5th may. DD encashed on 6/6/14. I have not received PER. I used last year uci and login. In status column it is showing "In Process". This word is underlined. When i click in underlined area, then its is showing your application received on 5/5/14.

Thanks a lot for the quick turnaround.
I know the importance of job duties, hence very concerned now.

From what you have mentioned below, I think most of them don't apply for me because my company IS giving remainder of the stuff mentioned on their letterhead. I will however submit offer letter / payslips / ID card / business card.

1. Should I type out my job duties on a page and get it signed by my manager? I will attach his business card too.
2. Should I get the job and duties sent to me by email from my Manager and then attached printout of that email?
3. Should I make an affidavit which claims my job duties in point-form. This affadavit, it has to be signed by me? or my Manager? My Manager won't sign an affidavit, I'm sure.

Any other suggestions?
Should I do 1 or 2 or 3, or all 1 and 2 and 3?

Also, do you see any other required information missing?

Brother,

Job duties and responsibilities is the most important for ur application.....

U can check below post and relevant info from below:

if ur employer is not providing on letterhead please check :

"Reference letters in the required format are necessary, please try your best to get them. If after all efforts you are unable to obtain a work reference letter, then you should provide a solemn declaration / affidavit explaining in detail why are you unable to do so. The officers at the VO are aware of the fact that different employers have different policies towards issuing such adhoc letters and may not cooperate in issuing such a letter. Please do attach all your employment records with the declaration. I was unable to obtain a work reference letter from one of my employers and did the same. However please bear in mind that the final decision rests with the visa officer handling your case."

Accumulated Suggestion :

"1) Please descibe the reference letter with your NOC on a white A4 paper and get it acknowledged by your supervisor.
2) Take a copy of photo I'd (company tag photo id) of your supervisor of your company...get it signed by him on it and do attestation
3) Get a service letter from your employee stating you have worked from so and so time with your designation
4) provide an affidavit supporting why you are not able to provide the reference letter in company letter head and attach the service letter provided along with this
5) Submit appointment letter (if exists)
6) Submit Payslip (if exists)
7) Business card of applicant (if exists)

Good luck....:)

1.Get your direct manager to do an affidavit for you listing your duties.
You can get a senior colleague of yours to do it.
make sure you yourself get an affidavit to explain the reason why its missing on the letter and also list them out.
Make sure you include all supporting documents like employment letter, contract letter, payslips and so on.

2.You are fine but you can include the hours worked in your affidavit too.

Cheers.

thanks for the detailed explanation.
I have lived in 3 rented houses in past 10 years. Will police dept send individual to all thsoe houses. Coz..i really don't know who is living there now and really doubt, if they know me. Pl. help

PS: I have applied for FSW2013 and got PCC (not thru PSK). It was valid, when i sent the application, but now (as of today), 1 year validity is gone. Guess i need to apply for PCC again.

Police verification would be done only where you currently live. Your past addresses are just for records. In-fact at PSK they wouldn't ask you where you lived in the past. Also, if you have got PCC from Bangalore for last year's application, and if you still live in the same address as of last year you might get your PCC without initiating a new police verification for this application. I would suggest you to apply on PassportIndia portal and take a print out of the application without taking an appointment, reach the PSK at 8.30 AM. Once inside, give your passport copy and your residential proof for the current address, they might check their records if there is a police clearance recently on your passport. If the address matches with where it was done for last year, they will issue you the PCC then and there (within 2 or 3 hours).

Great.. scaled 1900 th (page )
