Thank you Bijoy,

I understood but problem is that Some field are not grayed out such as UCI, Fax no. Apt/Uni.

but They mentioned everytime that you have to Answer all questions and dont left anything blank.

thats why the question arise.

Please help with your valuable opinion.
Agree with you. I had the same doubt when I filled up mu form. Write N/A in Apt/Uni, other space leave blank. Their is validate options, so no worry. If u left any necessary info blank, it would be red during validation. So fill up and validate at the end. U will be sure by yourself.

Although our guru ashif_eee does not agree with me, but i think they have stream-lined the process to expedite overall processing. Thereby more work is being completed at CIC NS rather than VO. Seemingly, CIC NS is thoroughly reviewing the app and then VO will do more of verification work rather than first reviewing and the verifying.

After all, if they have to expedite the process, thing have to change. To remove bottlenecks, specially at certain VO (like London & Singapore), its easier and cost efficient for Canadian gov to hire more staff at CIC NS for optimal utilization rather than having under utilized staff at some VO, and over burdened staff at others.

All these are just my assumptions, especially based on spikes in number of CC charges per week (indicating more processing per application than simply checking completion status) and ONLY 1 MR issued at exceptionally fast pace by CPC-O (which already has 1 of the fastest processing time). Only coming time may validate my assumption, especially if similar speed is followed by London or Singapore VO's.

Therefore, even if CC/DD is being charged at slower rate, i am hopeful of overall faster processing. Its like slow & steady wins the race!

If that were true they would be charging CC/DDs faster than they are. :(

Got SMS that my CC is charged. NOC 2174, Application reached 7th May.

I called up my bank and they informed that the transaction is still unprocessed, and when the merchant claims within 15 days the transaction will be reflected in the statement... Do you guys are aware if this is normal process..

snow_ski brother,

Seems ok with ur docs....Although u may attach ur photos and DD on the doc checklist's position...

If u are sending from BD, then --in my experience FeDEX is the most time saving and a bit economy courier....:)

Good luck brother...:)
Dear ashif_eee bro,

Thanks. I will go for Fedex as you suggested. So it’s tomorrow I am sending it, feeling very nervous.

The feeling is reminding me my old days (student life). After all exams all students used to discuss with others about their answers to verify if they are fine. But I was different. I used to run off the exam hall (I was a very good student by the way :D ) as soon as the exam were finished, never used to discuss anything what I have written in the exam script (doesn’t matter whether the exam went good or bad) and never used to see the chapters and handouts related to the exam, in case I answered something wrong, that would have definitely made me frustrated, sad, upset, tense…

I guess the situation is going to repeat from tomorrow. May be I will not look back to the posts here, until I hear something positive about my application!! I am saying may be, because don’t know.. who knows may be I won’t be able to 'control' myself looking at the posts.. because by now it became a routine to read the forum everyday… :) But well in case I read something that makes me feel I made mistake in the application,, that would certainly put too much pressure on!.. :(

You guys were so helpful.. ashif_eee, Century, Shah2014, Future_ Canadian, kollins, cjg1987, Oscar7, and many more names r in my list (SPECIALLY Century I must say)…… 100 +1 for all of u. Thank you all.

Let’s see whether my luck favors me with this application!

I agree with you. It seems that at least with CPC-O, things are going to go faster. All we need now is a second data point to rule out that the 1 MR is not just a fluke!

Dear Friend,

All the best. Yes FEDEX is the best option from Dhaka.

I would still suggest you to check this forum now and then . I am confident you have not made any mistakes.

Still if any doubt , ask your questions. Forum members will try their best to answer.

Good luck!

I can understand. Although they are all finance NOCs but they are different to one another and if your duties are tied with 1112, it is hard to apply for another NOC. Last year 1112 was the hottest NOC and the cap was 300. It filled around 23 May if my memory is correct. The thing is though, there was a change of application form so people had to wait till 4 May. Also it was first year to introduce an education credential system so people had to wait for docs from institutions such as WES.

People argue that no NOC will fill up within a month. However there were many people who applied for 1112 last year but their file got returned due to cap, they re-applied this year. Perhaps there are a number of first applicants who prepared the docs earlier with anticipation of FSWP opening this year as well. I am not sure where you got the info that the cap might have reached in the last week of May but I think it is not far from the truth.

But, Let's wait and see. No one is 100% sure till CIC confirms the cap. Keep an eye on Province nominee programs in the mean time as well. Wish you all the best.

Hello Friends,
I am new to the forum and seeking help to complete my application. Hope it is not too late as I have most of the documents collected already and with little help I would be able to submit my application sooner.

My questions:
1. While filling the text boxes using Adobe acrobat application, in some cases the spaces is not sufficient. for example, IMM5406 Additional Family Information, the space provided for "Present Address" is not sufficient. I do not want to alter the address and would like to enter it as shown on my passport but this field has a limit. Similar Situation in IMM5669 Schedule A form Q.7 fields "Name of Institution" and "Field of Study". I don't know abbreviating is a good idea in this case.

2. IMM5406 has a note saying "Complete ALL names in English and in your native language". Can I use additional sheet just to write the names in my native language and attache to the main sheet?

Thanks for your time.

My docs were received on 23rd May and after the status was changed to "Docs received - Review in progress" on 27th May. But on 28th it changed to "Waiting for required documents" again. On raising a question throgh contact us form, I got a generic reply on 30th that resubmit documents as per your country specific requirements. I asked them to recheck since my univ confirmed they had sent all documents in order. Then on 2nd June they changed status back to "Docs received - Review in progress" but again on 3rd changed it to "Waiting for required documents". On 4th I called them to ask about the exact problem and was told that the university envelope was received opened. I checked with Delivery courier as well as university and both confirmed that the envelope was delivered in proper sealed condition and they have the proof of WES signature for it. Then I wrote a strong mail to them on 5th June that it was definitely some confusion on their side and they should accept my docs, they changed the status back to "Docs received - Review in progress" and it is the same till this time i.e. 7 working days.
So just like Royston, it has been in this status since long but I think this is because of the number of applications they are working on now and not because of any other issue. They won't confirm much on phone while status is In progress but I believe it'll definitely change within next 2 days. My wife's assessment was also stuck in this status for 8-9 working days so I think our applications will get through in coming days.
My documents were accepted finally and status changed to" Evaluation in progress" yesterday. target completion date is 23rd June. So, to all those whose application has been messed by WES by not accepting genuine documents, I would like to suggest that don't give up easily on them. Mail them, call them and complain against them to BBB(Better Business Bureau) to ensure that they face the heat for making false claims about your documents. I got consignment details and confirmation mails from delivery courier and asked WES to explain why they claimed that my envelope was received open when it was not. Following this they accepted my document third time recheck. For some of us, this unprofessional attitude might mean missing the opportunity of a lifetime and WES needs to learn that.

Thank you friend, will do that. But for the Question 1 it may be difficult to squeeze in the entire address manually, will try yo write smaller that size 10. I don't know why some addresses are so lengthy.
Any other suggestion?
