Hello Friends,

I received PER email today and the same has been updated in the spreadsheet.

I have following new information which needs to be updated in my file at CIO, Any suggestions?

1. My current address has changed since the time I filed for the immigration application though my permanent address is still the same.
I have recently moved to USA from India temporarily (right now for 6 months but can go beyond that) and how to request for change of my VISA office?

2. Also the passport of my son has changed (because it was due to expire) since the time I filed the application.

1. I'm not sure whether you can change your local VO. When your current VO contacts you, explain the situation and see what they say.

2. Same. All you have to do is provide updated information when they ask for it.

In NID column, what document need to mention basically,
I am Indian National living in Japan from last 4 yr. Can i mention Japan Resident Card No ? or do i need to mention any indian document no like PAN CARD.

NID is your NID (Indian) , in this case Japanese resident card is not appropriate.

According to forum members Indians do not have a NID. In this case you can click "NO"

Hi Guys,

Have sent the application today, New Delhi office. It will reach cic on 17th or 18th. Do u think i'll make it in the CAP?? NOC 2132 Mechanical engg.

i am also under 2132, but will send my application in 1st week of Aug. Hope till that time Cap will be still there,

(Only waiting for my IELTS which is due on 19th July)

No. It is just a travel document, not a national ID.

I am filling up Schedule A background Declaration form and i need some help from you guys.

Que 7) Education

My name of institute is so long and i am not able to write it completely in given box
Lets say, the name of institute is

1) Central School of Professional Study but what if i write Central School of Proff. Study only?
2) Also in Type of certificate or diploma issue column, i need to write Higher Diploma but there is no enough space. So, can i write only Higher Dipl?

Would that cause any issue?

You can hand write it after printing or continue into adjacent boxes or onto the next line, any of those work.

Check the form thoroughly , Passport and National Identity Document has been clearly distinguished.

My documents were accepted finally and status changed to" Evaluation in progress" yesterday. target completion date is 23rd June. So, to all those whose application has been messed by WES by not accepting genuine documents, I would like to suggest that don't give up easily on them. Mail them, call them and complain against them to BBB(Better Business Bureau) to ensure that they face the heat for making false claims about your documents. I got consignment details and confirmation mails from delivery courier and asked WES to explain why they claimed that my envelope was received open when it was not. Following this they accepted my document third time recheck. For some of us, this unprofessional attitude might mean missing the opportunity of a lifetime and WES needs to learn that.

I think the latter, but just do what's accurate. It's unlikely you finished one job/address/activity in one month and started the next one in the next month right? More likely one ended and the next began in the same month.

[size=10pt]After the app is transferred to local VO, if the applicant goes on to study in another country, how will the local VO coordinate with him/her? Also in the final stages one needs to submit the passport for PR, but a person already abroad cant do so? What will happen then? Is there an option to change the VO later?[/size]

Your VO will tell you how to handle this. You're not the first person who's been in this situation. Relax!

I have been in canada for around 10 months from Oct 2012 to July 203. Do I need to submit pcc for Canada as well. I remember reading somewhere that you need to submit pcc for all country except Canada.

You don't, because they can check the Canadian records themselves.
