I can understand. Although they are all finance NOCs but they are different to one another and if your duties are tied with 1112, it is hard to apply for another NOC. Last year 1112 was the hottest NOC and the cap was 300. It filled around 23 May if my memory is correct. The thing is though, there was a change of application form so people had to wait till 4 May. Also it was first year to introduce an education credential system so people had to wait for docs from institutions such as WES.

People argue that no NOC will fill up within a month. However there were many people who applied for 1112 last year but their file got returned due to cap, they re-applied this year. Perhaps there are a number of first applicants who prepared the docs earlier with anticipation of FSWP opening this year as well. I am not sure where you got the info that the cap might have reached in the last week of May but I think it is not far from the truth.

But, Let's wait and see. No one is 100% sure till CIC confirms the cap. Keep an eye on Province nominee programs in the mean time as well. Wish you all the best.

Thanks dude! The best is to wait and see rather than making judgement.... thats true but I have simply no doubt that if the last year cap was filled by 23 May, 2013 then why cant this time?? But another school of thought says that since there are 4 categories in finance there is a chance that NOC1112 will not be the hottest this time.

Can you further elaborate as you also think that it is not far from the truth that cap may have been filled. Thanks..

Im on a PGWP and working currently in canada..I have 5 years work experience under NOC 1123..My question is as im already in canada and working..do i still need to show proof of funds as when i had a word with the call centre executive of CIC,,they said that i am not required to show proof of funds as im authorized to work in canada and i currently have a job. My wife is also working in Canada on an open work permit...Senior members..please enlighten me on this issue...Do i need to show proof of funds or not?

What the guide says is that if you have a permanent job offer (that would get you 10 points under arranged employment), you don't need to show proof of funds. Will your job extend beyond the time you get your PR, if it is granted? Then I'd say no need to show proof of funds. Anyway, CIC has already answered your question, so assuming you told them your situation accurately, just go with what they say. I'd put in a note in your application stating that you already asked CIC and they told you you didn't need to show POF, just to be safe.

I agree with you and I know someone else who did the same thing, searched for M Krszwda and found that she's not Mike because she's a girl validated by the job she listed in the profile. It could be a coincidence though that charges and PERs are from Mike's lot. We're just wondering...

In NID column, what document need to mention basically,
I am Indian National living in Japan from last 4 yr. Can i mention Japan Resident Card No ? or do i need to mention any indian document no like PAN CARD.

Thanks. I will go for Fedex as you suggested. So it's tomorrow I am sending it, feeling very nervous.

The feeling is reminding me my old days (student life). After all exams all students used to discuss with others about their answers to verify if they are fine. But I was different. I used to run off the exam hall (I was a very good student by the way ) as soon as the exam were finished, never used to discuss anything what I have written in the exam script (doesn't matter whether the exam went good or bad) and never used to see the chapters and handouts related to the exam, in case I answered something wrong, that would have definitely made me frustrated, sad, upset, tense...

I guess the situation is going to repeat from tomorrow. May be I will not look back to the posts here, until I hear something positive about my application!! I am saying may be, because don't know.. who knows may be I won't be able to 'control' myself looking at the posts.. because by now it became a routine to read the forum everyday... But well in case I read something that makes me feel I made mistake in the application,, that would certainly put too much pressure on!..

The MR will have a validity period so if you do it too early it might just expire ...better wait till the VO asks for it

Not only that, once you get a visa you have 12 months from the date of the medical to land. If you do a medical very early before it is requested and your local VO takes a while to process your application you will either have to do another medical (wasting time and money) or land very quickly.

May 5 applicant n DD still not charged. I'm loosing hope now. When will one know if the application is rejected?

You can contact CIC 8 weeks from the date your application is received and they may tell you. Otherwise, if you're rejected, you won't know until you receive your application package back in the mail, which could take months.

i sent my my application last Saturday from INDIA to CIC office via DHL but is not delivered till now........according to DHL tracking,my application is FORWARDED FOR DELIVERY from ONTARIO SERVICE AREA but still not delivered...........i am getting worried whether i will make the cap the cap for 2174 or not

Thank you all so much for this informative thread. I am new to the the FSWP, I have received my WES report and will be sitting my IELTS on 21 June and expecting result on the first week of July. By then, I will be ready with all my documents and send my application by first week of July under NOC 1111 (Hoping that the cap will not be reached by then) I have two questions:

1. Regarding National Identity card - I have two Identity cards, One from Kenya (My home town) and one from UAE where i currently reside. The problem with my Kenyan ID card is that it has wrong date of birth which is different from my birth certificate and passport which show the correct DOB. This is because when I applied for my Kenyan ID more than 12 years ago, there was no requirement to show birth certificate and the application form was filled by a clerk who recorded a wrong date. It was necessary for me to get ID card at that time as police can stop and ask for ID anytime or risk going to Jail. Should I just attach my Emirates ID and ignore the Kenyan ID or should I attach the Kenyan ID with affidavit? what is your opinion?

2. Regarding my employment reference letter - I can provide the reference letter with all required details. In this case, do I still have to attach the pay slips and business cards? is this mandatory?

1. You should attach both IDs. For the ID with an error, just explain the error in an annexure.

2. The letter is the most important thing, but supporting documents like pay slips and business cards can't hurt.

Good point that's basically what I meant by the MR validity...why give yourself less time to land?

Guys! I need some guidance. I applied under NOC1112 on June 9th,2014. Payment was through the foreign demand draft. Will the payment be deducted immediately or just like the CC after the review?

Secondly, any idea keeping the trend in view that will I be able to make it to the cap this time as I feel my application is late.

Lastly, any idea how the VO is assessing the applications and because a cap of 43 for NOC1112 till date is nothing and this cant be possible. By the way I got a chance to get some idea of cap time from some reliable source and it seems it will be filled in the last week of May, 2014.

Nobody knows when the cap will be filled.

Your DD will be charged after CIC checks that your application is complete and that you appear eligible.
