i am from INDIA

While filling the WES evaluation form, there are multiple options in INSTITUTION TYPE eg. State board of Technical Education and Higher Education.

Can some one clarify when to use the State Board of Technical Education option

Have you done any technical course, diploma, degree in engineering, etc. Only then State Board of Technical Education.
Check your diploma/degree to see who awarded the certificate to you

Hey guys
My application was received by CIC on 4th June.
I didn't include the affidavit of the translator who translated my Birth Certificate..
I didn't knew earlier that we need to submit it, However the translation is notarized.

Is it worth sending now? I am pretty sure that they won't accept any additional document as i don't have the UCI.
But is there a slight chance or has anyone sent any additional documents that has been accepted without UCI.

You should be fine. This practice is also followed by several consultants.

Yup i have done B.tech (engineering) and followed that by MBA.

so B.tech will come in State Board of Technical Education and MBA in higher education???

Total applications received towards the overall cap : 157 of 25,000

Above is the current status at CIC, which is obviously a tiny fraction. Then why the hysteria about CC/DD (Credit Card/Demand Draft) charge ? (no pun intended)

Is it just because the applicants are unsure of their application being complete (and hence fear of no CC/DD charge), or that this cap is going to fill at a exponential rate (and hence the hurry) ?

Or that I am completely missing something here.


PS: The following note at the same CIC page saying

Note: Due to the large number of applications we get, we cannot check that each one is complete on the same day it gets to the office. The numbers on this page are updated at least once a week, but are only a guide. There is no guarantee that an application sent in now will fall within the cap by the time it gets to the Centralized Intake Office.

does suggest though that it might be the case of exponential rate, or a pseudo-exponential because of CIC having a big back-log before they started looking at these applications.

The CIC data is lagged. It does not indicate the real situation. Our spreadsheet has about 1000 in total already.

You are right.
But you only need to submit your highest education for ECA, in your case MBA. Please check with Seniors.
