It is interesting to note that the same UCI has been assigned to my case, as the one I had in my student visa document more than 12 years ago.

I'm sorry but that's a ridiculous thing to do made worse by the fact that u did it on purpose...The picture from CIC is very unclear as it is...people on edge about CAP being filled, status of their applications and wondering when their CCs will be charged...so for you to come along and create more confusion is pathetic

Can all bros please provide a guidance..
My application received at CIO on 20th May, but I had left out my work experience letter which I subsequently mailed separately but I have no clue if the CIC guys would be able to assist to locate, match and attach to my application. On top of that I also spotted couple of mistakes e.g. left time gaps in my Background Declaration and also forgotten to put my name in signature space on the Generic Form. I am expecting the worst – rejection/refusal at best but I want to be in the queue, therefore I am thinking filing a new application again. My question: should I wait for the outcome (the refusal letter assuming my application is a no go) or should I proceed to send it now. I am able to get the original IELTS TRF. What if by sheer luck my initial app goes through and I unknowingly file a second app? Any advice appreciated.. Thx

Hi,

I have applied for FSWP. In the Background Declaration, I indicated the Last name of my mother with a mistake. It asked for the one she had when she was born, but I indicated her Last name as it is now (after marriage). What type of problems this might lead to? Rejection?

Im applying for noc 2133 but have a question to ask.my designation does not match with examples one but my duties match 80%.ur designation should be same or only duties shud match .

1.It won't be a problem
2.Your UCI will be the same....you only get it once in your lifetime.

When u say, UCI is allocated only once, it means my old UCI will be re-used (retrieve by CIC) when I didn't write it on my application.
Today when I check the application status using 2013 UCI, I get nothing. does it mean UCI status is reset when I get PER this time?

Duties should match. A Designation match is not mandatory.

Hello

I have question about CIC working methodology? How they work with received applications?

For instance, we have No. of NOC codes. I sent app. For NOC 2132 /9th May/DD used , so does it mean that separate persons would entertain NOC 2132, 2131, 2174 ...... etc.? Or else there would be common staff for looking after all NOC code. (Which I really doubt as job responsibilities differ from case to case and CIC has assigned general duties for related field, for which domain expert is required for careful evaluation, I guess such)

Because I could see progress only from CIC update and our forum spread sheet only selected NOC like 2173, 2174, & 1112 are jumping high and others are lagging behind.
Expert kindly explains ;D ;D

Don't worry...this is going to be fine since 90% of your supporting documents are the same thing......unless the marriage certificate.
It may even be termed as one of the reason why the affidavit was included.
Just relax....if you get everything right with the rest of your application....you won't be denied or rejected because of your in-law's mistake in name.
