I have a quick and (hopefully) easy question. :)

Consider that I have 4 years total work experience with continuous 1.5 years of them in an eligible occupation for the FSWP program and the other 2.5 is non-eligible class A occupations.

How many years of my work experience will be considered for the work experience points (all 4 years or just the 1.5)?

Thanks :)

If it is a non-eligible class occupation, your total count is 1.5 yrs and you get 9 points for that I believe.

Only one with copies of your marksheet and degree certificate

Hy All,

How many copies need to send with skill worker application package? WES send me 2 copies of report, both copies need to send CIC? kindly guide me in this matter.

I think Your question is how many copy of WES evaluation report is required to send with application?

Well that would be one.

One original copy is required to send with Visa Application and one is for your records. all the best.

To all those who have sent your parcel through FEDEX ,

Mine is in GOFFS,NS since yesterday

2) I have 15+ Years of experience in IT networking / Communication and Security. Last 7 Years US exp rest is in India.

Why are 1112 not getting charged anymore??? :o

If a PER is received, does that mean points were calculated and is ready to be sent to local VO?

Thanks for your reply!

I read somewhere that it is only a criterion of having 1 year continuous experience in an eligible NOC to be eligible for the FSW program but that all work experience in NOC classes 0, A and B will be considered towards your work experience points.

However, I cannot find this statement anymore.

Can anyone of the seniors confirm what is correct and point me to the official statement? Thanks! :)

Hi all,

Just a quick query. I sent my application for NOC 2172 (Database Administrator) and it was received on 22nd May 2014.
Now, I am trying to reach out to a few friends in Canada who have their own firms. I want to get an offer letter to escalate the whole process.

I have a couple of questions.

- Does the job offer I'll get have to be of same field (in my case Database Administrator)
- What if I am getting a job offer for a different field, i.e., Project Management?
- How long does the whole process take if you have a job offer?

Kindly guide me if anyone (experienced) knows the answers to above questions?? :)

Thanks,

Rabail

There are two aspects to your query
1) Do you want to convert your application from FSW under NOC to FSW arranged employment. Then you can get any job be it a DBA or Network admin or project management. CIC won't care.

But for that you need offer letter from employer & +ve LMO(which right now HRSDC is taking 6 months to issue if all docs are submitted without any issues)

2) If you want to expedite your processing of exisisting FSW application, I think you can do this only if CIC finishes processing of ur application and issue you PER(67/100 points is mandatory and you cannot escape that).
I am not sure how will CIC treat if your job is in project management. I would recommend you to keep the offer letter with you if you get one. as soon as your file reaches local visa office, send the offer letter to visa office, they will try to expedite the processing of your application. This is what i read in FSW13 thread, few of them got PR

Go through section 6.3 and 11.3

@CAJan

Although there is no clear instructions, but general understanding is that full 1 yr work experience will be accounted, but for conservative estimate calculate it in the basis of 1.5 yrs and if you need additional points to reach 67 points threshold, see if you can do something about it without spending additional time e.g. if u have to schedule an IELTS, let your wife also sit for it to get 5 point for her adaptability or 5 points for relatives in Canada.

If you have more than 67 points with 1.5 yr exp, need not to worry. There is no benefit of extra points other than a cushion for some unexpected deduction.

Btw you need to provide detailed experience letter (including roles, salary, working hrs etc etc) for any experience (eligible or otherwise in Cat 0, A or B) if you want the points to be awarded for it.

Spreadsheet admins!!!!

Can you please set the home page in order of applications received date? Current homepage looks quite ambiguous.... 2013 FSW sheet was quite clear.

So we can see how many of the current date applicants are still remaining to get charged or get PER.

One more thing. some entries are there without application received date entry. please put this field as a mandatory in the input form.

Thanks.

@jigzz

CONGRATULATIONS!!!

Early rain drops are always more welcome, seems CIC guys came early to meet week's target. Looking forward to rainfall of CC charging.

IMO opinion they are creating a batch of each of hot NOC application to be sent to visa offices .
since 1112 batch is full, we don't see more CC charges. but again its just my guess. Be patient your cc will be charged now or later.
