miva said:Hi everyone!
I have applied under NOC 2131. my application reached CIC on 22nd May. While i was going through the posts in this forum, I noticed that everyone is advising to get the letters related to work experience from HR. I got my letters from one of the directors of the company who interviewed and appointed me and not from HR. He signed the letter of appointment too at that time. Hope this is not an issue. Please anyone clarify.
While i wait for my DD to get charged, I'm getting really worried everyday .

How much time embassy takes to process PCC and is it safe to send original passport to embassy or is there any other way to get PCC ??
What is the feeling, NJ and APSK? I notice both of your applications reached on 2nd May, so still a lot of 2nd May apps are ongoing. Congrats both!!!! Time to party and all the best for the next steps.Achiever 99 said:Quote from: APSK on June 05, 2014, 07:17:17 am

I had a similar experience during my ECA stage minus fees part..Oscar7 said:You're welcome. Yes, it is indeed painful. Not to bring your morale down, as I am sure you will get it done eventually.
Will share my story - I had to go to my university twice although I had a college principal attested sealed transcript from years ago (I had gotten that at the time I applied for my masters degree). First time I paid fee at university, which was like INR 500 per page of attestation for 4 years of mark sheet in a sealed envelope. I got 2 sets made, one for future use just in case. Then after 7 days of follow up it was still stuck in the university office because of some payment miscalculation from their end so I paid a little more and finally after 2 trips to the town of my college I got the transcript.
These days every university has a website so I recommend calling up registrar's office or controller of examination's office before you travel far (in case your university is far from your current place of residence). As some senior suggested do take original mark sheets and photo copies with you when you go to the university.
If you need further help on this feel free to message me. Good luck!
