Dear Seniors,

I have a question as given below:

1. I worked with a company in 2004-2010 (around 6 yrs) with job matching with NOC that falls in a category of skills level B but the same NOC is not there is the current eligible occupation list.

2. Now I'm working in another company since 2010 and have the matching duties of NOC 2171 & 2173 so my current exp comes as around 4 years.

My question is; will I be getting the points of current 4 yrs of exp or I'll also be getting the points for full 6+ yrs for skill level B as well?

Please suggest! Thanks

It should be original

Hi Kollin,

Though you answered the question, but here's the same question but a little more specific

I have a question on my eligibility. I am planning to apply under NOC 1123. I have an Engineering Degree in Mechanical Engineering, but I don't have a university degree or college diploma in business marketing, public relations, communications, journalism, museology or a discipline related to a particular subject matter, which is usually required.

I do have an Advanced Certificate in Marketing, which is a part time 1 year course and does have related subjects.

I do have a paid experience of 1 year 6 months in one of the NOC 1123 profiles though.

Am I eligible?

Please advise.

I believe since you do have an advanced 1 year course in marketing, is it a degree or diploma or it just states certificate coz as per my Canadian experience, having a certification course is termed vague over there.

Why not ask ECA or CIC once if you get points for that or not ? Hope some senior has knowledge regarding this.

For "Additional Family Information" form , it says we need to fill all the names in English and in native language.

I have question, can we just take a print out of the same form and fill the equivalent names in native language on the "English: filled form , or we need to fill the fresh form.

Also we are not required to fill the address and place of birth in native ?

Please advice

Hi Intensecool,

Thanks for your response. It is neither a Degree nor a Diploma. It is a one year course with 13 subjects with full Degree like Credits and CGPA awarded. But, assuming ECA or CIC don't accept this, can I still be eligible under NOC 1123 with a B.Tech in Mechanical engineering? Please advise.

Finally couriered my application for FSW 2014 lets see what happen next finger crossed.

where do my application stand if i donot send the checklist along with the package? I have not sent.

If any issue what would be the immediate action item that can be taken?

Yeah, 1212 is right there... so it's eligible.

Dear seniors

Its regarding proof of funds. I have not maintained the amount for 6 months in my bank account . Infact i have deposited it 2-3 days prior to making the certificate from the bank . Should i send the 6 months statement along with the certificate or not??????

all the photocopies must be attested by the notory.

Where are you getting this?

If translated, yes, but if they are in English or French, plain un-attested photocopies are just fine.

Hi,

I'm yet to send documents to WES for ECA evaluation. Can I change the delivery address to my friend's canadian address ? So that I can send all other documents to him and later he can attach ECA report in the package and directly send to CIC ?

Has anyone tried this before ?

Thanks
Arun

Yes it is possible

I did that last year, put my brothers address in USA and they sent it to him.

send 3 months statement, if its huge transaction of entire proof of fund, be ready to explain to local VO. Maintain the balance till you get passport request.
