IELTS Results for test date 10 May 2014

As a result of the technical problems candidates will not be able to receive a Test Report Form on Friday 23 May. NOC 1112 is Not even charged for 2 May Apps so why getting worried so soon
" patience " is your keyword !

My Application was reached on 05th May..Still CC not charged...Am worried a little.. :-[

I believe the IT ones are charged. My NOC is 1112. Any one with this NOC got their CC charged.

Guys I cant find anything mentioned regarding the validity of a birth certificate.

Does CIC accept birth certificates which were issued not so recently?

Applied to WES: 5-May
Documents accepted by WES: 9-May,
Email received on 21-May that Evaluation will be complete on 29-May

Still nothing....

The date given was already 3 weeks after accepting documents and after scheduling based on FCFS. Now there is a notice on WES website that it takes 20 working days. How can existing schedule be delayed unless later applications are evaluated first out of their turn. So only possibility seems that there may be some frivolous immigration consultants bribing and getting their client's application prioritized hereby delaying all others whom the completion date was committed previously. Tried to call their number but always it says that call centre is currently closed and pls call M-F 9-2 while all my calls were during these hours only. Is this how Canada works.

Had sent mine and my wife's application to WES which were received on 23rd May and 12th May respectively. For both of these applications they took changed status after 1 week from Review in progress to "awaiting documents" with the comments as "Not acceptable Please resubmit according to WES requirements" for my marksheets which I am sure were sent by my Univ duly as per the procedure since they have done the process for thousands of application. For my wife's application also, the same comments were mentioned for degree and marksheets were mentioned as not submitted when her Univ clearly put all docs in the envelope in front of us. We tried calling but got the same message as you that call betweeen 9-2 on weekdays which we were already doing. Then we raised a query through "Contact us" link but then they gave generic response after 2 days as please refer to your country's requirements. Now we have again very strongly worded queries that we can confirm 100% that the due process was followed. Please recheck and confirm precisely what is the issue, if any? After this our application status is back to Review in progress.

On checking this forum, I found that so many people are facing this problem and usually what happens is that later when people send strongly worded queries then they change status to accepted within few days. This is highly unprofessional considering we'll perhaps miss out on the opportunity to apply because of their lackadaisical attitude. Delay in process due to workload is one thing but putting status messages as " Not acceptable Resubmit documents" without checking the application completely is certainly uncalled for.

I don't think that there is some limit on BC.
In fact BC is the document, which is generally issued at time of Birth.
it is insane to put time limit.

PPF statement can be used a proof of funds. I have done so. Its absolutely fine.

Did all of you send reference letters in CIC format or some one from you sent self affidavit explaining job details along with other supporting documents.

Please reply.. It will be beneficial to know for all waiting their status.

I have FD in a cooperative bank on my name along with father's name. Is this okay to show as POF ? Is it necessarilly to be on my name only?

I guess it has to be in your name only. Joint a/cs with Parents won't work.

I agree with the first statement...POF remains a mystery to many on here
As far as what I know, the settlement fund is something which is ready for liquidation and is not encumbered. Assets can be anything (stocks, bonds, real estate etc) in your name.

1. In the PROOF OF FUNDS page (date modified 2014-04-03), it says that:
These funds could be in the form of:
- cash
- documents that show property or capital payable to you (such as stocks, bonds, debentures, treasury bills, etc.) or

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/funds.asp

2. In the check list, point 15, they describe the settlement funds as
- current bank certification letter
- evidence of savings balance
- fixed or time deposit statement
But they still provide for more info the link from above, regarding the proof of funds, where they specify property ... pffff

Precisely, the documentation available on the web and on the checklist are quite misleading and confusing!

I am the principal applicant but the bank accounts were named after my husband. Do you think its ok?

It is ok provided u have enclosed a copy of marriage certificate

So PCC from FBI is sufficient, or do i have to get PCC from state police too!

Thanks for the nice reply +1 for that, i also am of the same opinion but i have seen some cases rejected in 2013 fsw after charging CC

I guess those rejections would have been because of discrepancies found during background checks...The fact that someone's CC has been charged doesn't guarantee him/her a PR. Wish things were so simple

Can someone tell me how much CC should be charged with please. I am getting diff. information.

CAD 550 each of the principal applicant, family member aged over 22 and married family members under age of 22.
Additional CAD 150 for each of the unmarried family members under 22. (Refer IMM 5620E)

So for appln with primary applicant only, it'll be charged with CAD 550. For a family with husband, wife and a child, the fee would be ( 550 X 2)+150= CAD 1250
