What is the reason people choose WES..? is it more convenient as compare to other approved institutes ..? OR are they faster than others..?
I am on the verge of sending the documents for ECA to them.. but hesitating a lot due to similar complaints posted on such forums..

If now WES mention 20 business date in place of 10 as quoted earlier, should I still continue with WES or i should switch to University of Toronto..
No doubt that i will need another week to get documents from university directly sent to them.. but will it be worth..?

Try U of T. They don't accept online application so it's an extra courier fee but they complete in 21 days.

Hi

Can anyone help me out here.
I have FD in a cooperative bank on my name along with father's name. Is this okay to show as POF ? Is it necessarilly to be on my name only?
It has to be in yours name or Joint with Spouse only.
Joint FD with Father is not acceptable

<<< please Help >>>

any one has sent application showing PPF as thr Proof of Funds ???

any cases when thy have rejected PPF as POF ??

If there is no lock in Period for PPF, then it is acceptable.
but say it has lock in period of 10 or 15 years, then not acceptable.

The main thing is, you should be able to withdraw money whenever needed.
That money is acceptable.

Hi Everyone,

I am confused over joining any consultancy for FSWP. I have sent documents for WES and taken second Saturday of June for IELTS.
Can anyone please throw some light on how consultants (rated above average) can help us?

I know it depends on individual and all, but I just need your opinion which may be helpful to me.

ASSETS - LIABILITIES - TOTAL SETTLEMENT FUNDS

Dear Seniors, I've read different posts and it is not very clear regarding my situation.

I had in my bank account 14.400 CAD borrowed from a friend. I got the statement and I've returned the money 4 weeks ago.

Besides this I have an property that is worth 55000 CAD.

For two persons we need to provide proof of funds of at least 14.720. Am I good to go with 14.400 + 55.000 or the proof of funds refers only to bank account amount ? If I had another 320 CAD besides the 14.400 we would not have this discussion ... :)

Thank you,

Gautam - Mine as well was delayed due to WES. My application would have reached on 10th May if my WES was done earlier.

I understand your frustration. But we need to consider certain facts as well. The FSW14 program came as a surprise to may of the applicants as most of them thought that due to Express Entry in Jan 2015 there won't be any FSW14 program. Now since CIC announced the program, most of them sent the application to WES. So, WES is very much overloaded and it is not really able to handle all the applications. Even though my report was finished on time, there are few errors in my report like name and date of passing etc. But I had sent the same report to CIC explaining the mistake from WES.

So, please don't get upset with this. I would suggest you to send a mail to WES and wait for their response and hope for the best.

I more suggestion I can give you is, since all of your documents are ready, you can send your CIC application package to your friends if any in Canada. Once your get the WES report, order a duplicate immediately to your friend in Canada. Ask them to place the WES report in your application and then send it to CIC ,NS. This might save your 5 to 6 days of time.

Thank you very much dear for detailed explanation..

I agree with the first statement...POF remains a mystery to many on here
As far as what I know, the settlement fund is something which is ready for liquidation and is not encumbered. Assets can be anything (stocks, bonds, real estate etc) in your name.
Thanks

Guys I finally received my eca report on 29th May by ups. The eca report soft copy was available to view from 26th May.

It says bachelor's degree (4yrs) & 1 year graduate study - canadian equivalency

Can someone tell me the points?

Unfortunately I m out of town n will be able to send the app only on 3rd June. Hope i won't be too late ...my noc is 1113. :(

@Angel... What was program length of your Masters degree? Does the ECA reports - Canadian Masters degree equivalency? If yes, then you will get 23 points.

My Application was reached on 05th May..Still CC not charged...Am worried a little.. :-[

I believe the IT ones are charged. My NOC is 1112. Any one with this NOC got their CC charged.

Thank you,

your 55000 CAD will not be considered as settlement fund but it is an Asset.
You need to show Liquid money 14720 CAD in form of FD, Bank Balance or Pension.

And if you have given Bank Balance Certificate then it is OK, but if you have given Bank statement. where it is mentioned that someone has deposited 14400CAD into your account, then you may be in trouble.
You should maintain this balance as even if you get through, there is possibility of asking POF again along with MR.

There are another 50 names on the list till 5 May and they have not been charged or not updated the spreadsheet.

Team, please provide our status....

Not exactly sure what you mean here. In 12a you must put the primary NOC under which you are applying. You can put the title as the title of your NOC, your current job title, or even both with a slash or brackets.

CIC will give you points for any experience falling under skill type 0 or skill level A or B even if it is not in your primary NOC. You just need the minimum 1 year of continuous full-time employment in your primary NOc to qualify.

Just a lil correction.

As per cic, to achieve points for work exp, ur experience need not be in 0, A, and B. It can be anything. To be eligible you need 1 year of exp in listed occupation in 0 A or B.

WES responded to all my queries. That's why I recommend them. But I don't have any experience with the others...so
