Hello,
I made a mistake in Generic form IMM008- entered wrong date of residency of my spouse and Children, though I submitted all the residency visa copies to CIC.
Can I correct the form and resend (only a form IMM008) immediately and request CIC to replace old form with new? or I have to wait for next 2 months for CIC to send the file back or CIC will not penalize for this mistake/error?

Pls advice

Many applicants done this errors and at least one applicant should have been report rejection, if it happened. You provided your name as principal applicant (1st page) and you signed at the last page. So you write your name or not, you are legally liable and your document will not become invalidate due to not writing your name at the last page. You will be OK. Relax.

1. Car is not an asset... if you have landed property deeds/C of O, stocks/shares certificates, you may submit those.

2. Your spouse name should be as it appears on her current International Passport

3. Your dependent type choice isn't correct, hence the error.... check the application guide section on that

How in the world is a car not at asset? It is a possession with monetary value. It is not a LIQUID asset and therefore doesn't count as settlement funds, but it certainly can be included as an asset, and any loan on the car should (MUST) be entered as a liability.

Hi All,

Need help.

I have done B.Sc and MCA and also evaluate my both the degrees from WES and the evaluate as Bachelors and Masters as equivalent to Canadian Bachelors and Masters. I have also completed one year Postgraduate Ontario Graduate Certificate program from Toronto in Web Development. How much marks will I get it?. Will they consider my Masters or Canadian degree.

and i have 12000 cad in my account. what is the best option.
1) should i show both separate account balance certi
2) can i transfer my wife fund into my account
3) or can i open joint account and transfer all fund 13000 cad.

Funds in either spouse's account can be used as settlement funds. No problem.

However, note that for a family of 2 you need $14,720: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/funds.asp

Wik, Its just that USA/Canada applicants had advantage to send their app sooner coz of shorter distance nothing else.
