I beg to disagree.
It's not done yet, not until the Negative Eligibility Report is served!

keep the faith!
Thats true, nothing is done until its done: some point to consider,
- no of officers reviewing the files, some are faster could be allocated different applications based on dates/time. So may be the team reviewing May 1 applications are burried under a big stack as we speak.
- Individuals applying from US, are comparatively easier to process as the Canadians are more familiar with the paper work, where as from other countries they might have to put 2 + 2 together
- DD applications may take longer time as we all know it, but CC should not be an issues, just ensure that your cc company is aware of the charge coming, as they sometime reject the charge suspecting fraudulent activity. It happens.

I wish everyone the best and thank you for your help.

Hi Seniors,

I am applying for NOC 2171, I have two years experience from same IT company, but when i joined my title was "Graduate Engineer Trainee" and I got appraised 6 months back to title of "Senior Analyst", so while showing experience, do I have to show experience/reference letters for both the titles or only for "Senior Analyst" would suffice the purpose as my duties are almost the same for both the titles.
Kindly suggest.

Kind Regards
The best thing is for the letter to explain that your title changed, along with mentioning any salary and responsbilitiy changes that went along with the title change.

There are many on this forum who are silent and are not updating their information on the spreadsheet. Folks, kindly update your info on the spreadsheet as it will give us all a better view of what’s going on and reduce unnecessary panic. It is because people updated their info on the spreadsheet that someone was able to notice that 5 of the 9 known CC charges have been for applicants that have declared CPC-O as their visa office of choice (The fact that the majority of CCs charged so far have CPC-O in common could be a relevant piece of information).

Thanks

Dear Seniors

i need clarity on the targeted caps announced by CIC..

they announced 50 eligible job roles...

1000caps for each...(normally this should amount to 50000 applications allowed)

but in all only 25000 applications will be processed

those this mean that

1) Job roles that reach 1000caps earlier will be part of the 25000 to be processed?

2) job roles that don't even get to reach 300 applied for...applications will no longer be accepted since the 300 received as completed the 25000 in all required to be processed??

Thanks in advance to clarify
That's right. Once 25,000 applications are received any NOC that hasn't reached its cap is out of luck nonetheless.

Its better to add spouse in betwwen the application process...

Otherwise, spouse addition after getting PR or landing is a greater hassle --more documentation will be required...

And most importantly, its sluggish process for spouse addition as a PR on all of the visa offices(so far) then FSW applications...

Good luck..:)

Thanx asif for ur reply... I ll try to get married in between the process

To me if someone is:
i. Not intended to misrepresenting
ii. Not missing any vital information
iii. Not giving signature
He will not be rejected. CIC officer does not work in binary; they have given discretionary powers.

For your case 1, it is nothing but typo; it is not intended to misrepresenting name rather you must have submitted different documents/forms where your wife's name could be found. So for this mistake, your file will not be rejected.

For case 2, your wife cannot not get married to herself; I am certain, you have provided other forms and marriage certificate, where it is clear that she married you. So this will also not lead to rejection too.

However, your application can at worst case get delayed for correcting at VO.

You can be certain almost 80% of applicants make one or two errors and it never get detected by them. Just relax. Don't loose sleep on insignificant errors.
Thanks century :)

Thanks asifbhai, kollins, century and all other supporting members you are doing great things.
may god give you healthy, whellthy and prosperous life. I also wish the same.
I am very tensed now as i have to prepared all documents. waiting for wes report( about to come on 28 may 2014), IELTS TRF (3 rd june 2014). Also arranging for fund. moreover yet not filled any form and you see cap is about to filled.
i am preparing miscellaneous documents.
1) i dont know where to put cover letter explaining my wife( principal appl.) is pregnant and left the job right now she is unemployed. and cover letter for not including pcc.
2) my wife and i have two passport one old and one new.so i have to attached photo copies of both old and new one.
) where to put photos , demand draft and self addresses labels ?
) showing funds in cad is compulsory? we can have in rupeess or mentiond both rupeess and its equivalent cad.
1. Cover letter can go on top or even better just under document checklist and generic form. Also annexures for any forms that require them can go just under those forms.

2. Don't need to include old passport unless you need to show something like a visa or name change.

3. Place the documents in the order of the checklist. Photos can place in a little baggie or envelope.

4. Yes mention in CAD for reviewer's convenience. Also show where you got the exchange rate.

You are right. You can also show any amount of assets you would like - that's a trap; if you don't show enough annual income and claim huge amount of assets, they will doubt everything you supplied.

Providing evidence of assets is not mandatory and

1. even in the form, "Provide evidence" is given under Settlement Fund only;
2. In the Document Checklist, point 15, evidence has been asked against settlement fund only;
3. According to the Guide 7000, it is written that "You must provide proof of settlement funds with your application" (http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/eg7toc.asp#eg73) and nothing has been said about Assets or Liabilities.
I agree with what you wrote but it is the applicant's responsibility to answer all questions honestly. I think anyone should be prepared to provide evidence of assets if requested.
