Why would you do that. The form asks for your UCI number. I can't comprehend why people think they are free to disregard very plain instructions.

CIC will find your UCI from your name and date of birth and will proceed accordingly. Nobody knows whether it will affect your application.

I just love how you are so straight to the point (sometimes even harsh) with some people here who post questions...but you really do answer them logically and plainly...and I can understand that the whole process of FSW immigration can be very complicated and a bit overwhelming to some...but it is after all a life changing decision and that can get to the nerves of some I guess.

I am personally not applying but my brother already has and I have actually been following this forum on his behalf for some time....I would like to thank every body here including yourself @future_canadian for being very helpful and patient.

I can not edit the details on the spreadsheet (I live in Saudi Arabia and as someone else here mentioned it seems to be blocked)...but here are the details of my bro's applications to update the tracker sheet and maybe contribute to providing a clearer picture to those who are anxious for any news:

NOC: 2174
VO: Cairo
App received: 8th May 2014
IELTS: 8
Self Calculated points: 70
No Spouse, no relatives in Canada, no job offer
Degree: Bachelor's Comp Science
Experience: 4 years
PCC was sent, and as of now: awaiting CC charge

Thanks all...

It is only mentioned in Checklist. But in Guideline it is not mentioned. In checklist it is also mentioned to follow the "Step 4: Mail the application"

In this section only one address we have to use in center of the envelope:

Citizenship and Immigration Canada
Federal Skilled Worker
NOC Category, Offer of Arranged Employment category or PhD category
Primary NOC 2011 Code: XXXX
49 Dorchester Street
Sydney, NS
B1P 5Z2
Canada

1. Then where we have to mention our " self addressed mailing labels"

2. Should we have to give a print copy along with the application?

Regards
rumel

Just print your name and home address in English and local language and attach it with application.

Heloo,

Seniors , i got all my reference letters today, when i was reviewing them they the roles ans responsibilities are not 100% matching with the NOC 2011. would that be a problem , roughly how much percentage should match, but my job titles are fine. One of my friend told that roles in reference should match atleast 80 percent is that true? . Thanks in advance .

Cheers,
Cva Bugs

Hi

I have sent my Application on 23rd May. I had written 2173 as my NOC when I first entered data in the sheet, but eventually I have applied for NOC 2171 ('coz of many reasons). Kindly update the sheet accordingly.

As per DHL, the application pkg would reach CIC by 28th May.

Seniors, could you please make an educated guess on the odds of me getting into the CAP.

Thanks.

@ athrenta

In my opinion, even the word "FULL TIME REGULAR EMPLOYEE" is good enough, but other alternates can be

1. Employment Contract (if it mentions your work hours)
2. Screen shoot of ur time report
3. Pay slip (if it shows number of hours worked, but pay slips are to be provided as proof of ur employment, as well)

Thanks for the reply

No worries buddy.. If they have mentioned regular full time employee.. attach the salary certificates for last 3 months.. no need to attach the time report as it is confidential information for your company.. As far as I know employee can't share internal company information to external things..

Thanks im just worried that they will reject my application because of that. My 2 previous employers were able to indicate the # of hours but this last one where I am a new employee they were not able to show the hours work. But the contract also says full time regular employee. Thanks!

It sounds like you spend a substantial amount of time in UAE, I'd bet they want a PCC from there.
To my understanding, any place where you have spent 6 months or more, you will need a PCC from the place.

Based on the spreadsheet (https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/11gAbKSoDoOr1s8_raB1qwz0i-ZH0NyNWhhn18O6kHwQ/htmlview?pli=1&sle=true), its not a hot NOC.

which is faster UPS or DHL?

Dear Seniors,

This is the topic some people have asked before but there was no specific answer. If someone from Singapore, Permanent Resident can answer this question, highly appreciate it.

Can we use CPF balance as the proof of settlement fund? As a PR in Singapore, once I leave the country for Canada, I will have to denounce my PR and the CPF money will be released to me in full amount within 3-4 weeks of processing time. I will have this money in my hand when I reach Canada.

With this ground, can it be considered as the proof of readily available fund?

From India I would definitely prefer UPS. I can see in the tracking sheet where UPS delivered in 5 days max but DHL took almost 7 days. I am not sure of your country but for India it is definitely UPS.

Four people have been charged for FSW 2014 application. Looking from the stats maintained in the 2014 candidate spreadsheet "htt_p://tinyurl.com/FSW14-Spreadsheet" average number of days it takes to get charged since receipt of application at CIO is 20 to 25 days. My application was received on May 7th 2014 so can I expect to get charged sometime this week?
