Oh in that case, i think you should be OK, i have checked application guideline and did not find anything abt validity of passport. Kindly go through last year's reasons of rejection list and ask other seniors. But generally u shud be OK. Btw which NOC r u applying? If its NOT HOT NOC then you can take cautious stance, but if it is in my opinion GO AHEAD & SUBMIT. Specially, when u recieved the passport after sign-off date.

Yes but my papers are already in toronto to my aunt. Her friend went back to toronto witj my papers. I forgot that the signature of applicant page has a barcode. I was planning if i can scan his passport and send it via email to them but unfortunately the signature page has barcode. They can validate it but they cant sign it. What to do. It will take 3-4 days to send files to canada. Time is running. She was supposed to send it immediately but its holiday in canada. Is it ok to submit passport that is valid thru november?

Can't say anything about sending it at later date (if ur spouse current passport is not acceptable) but as per my understanding based on guidelines for filling the application, there is NO MENTION of passport epiry date, which by default means that it should be acceptable. To double check, kindly do as suggested in my previous post.

If your passport is acceptable, CIC/LVO will ask info for renewed passport on its own at later date, so u need not to worry.

CIC will contact your agent directly through email

Depend whose email is given in generic form (in primary conact details), usually the agents puts their email ID.

thanks for ur reply i agree with you jayesh ..2174 and 2173 are quiet close in roles and responsibilities either way it would be having same set of roles and responsibilities only difference being coding and script for automation or testing cause testing also involves coding to test the product or application... i can get the roles and responsibilities which can be considered in both NOC from company.

but i want to which NOC should be safe bet for me ... all i m trying to do is apply in the category where i can have the opportunity to be considered for PR if i send the document this weekend or next week.

I ve prepared my file for noc 3142... Just waiting for IELTS RESULTS ... I'll get my result on 23rd bt i m also going to claim spouse ielts' points , will b getting his result on 30th may....

Is it possible to send spouse ielts later ?? Can i apply on 23rd may to fall under cap ?
Remember, wdout spouse ielts my score is 65 ...
