You can apply without PCC, but you will have to supply it later. Figure out now how you can obtain it from abroad so you can get it easily when the time comes.Sar2014 said:NOC 2173-All documents are ready incl WES assesment.
I am yet to apply for PCC in India
As we are moving to US this month end .will my application processing will get delayed for want of PCC in the later stage. As i could see someof the applicants struggling to get PCC from abroad.

Quick Help(People from India especially)
I have a BE-Electronics(4 years Bachelor) + Master of Management Studies-Finance(2 year post grad) from MUMBAI UNIV-INDIA. Does WES consider this as masters. On generic application form under app should I put Bachelors/post grad -no degree/Masters
Similarly spouse B.Com(3 years bachelor) + MMS-Finance from Mumbai univ, same Question.
My credential equivalent report from WES(free tool)
Credential 1-- Equivalency in Canada: Bachelor's degree (4 years)
Credential 2-- Equivalency in Canada: 1 year of graduate study
Please reply because I want to get these forms ready before I receive the report from WES which is taking forever.
I had a similar situation of studying abroad and did not receive a diploma while studying abroad but my credits transferred to the university that granted my degree. In that case, WES will evaluate your community college records as "2 years of study at the university level" and your university degree will be evaluated as the university degree typically would.crewbunk said:Dear Seniors:
Referring to my previous inquiry:
I studied my first 2 years of bachelor study in a USA community college and then transferred to a USA university for 3rd and 4th year and obtained a graduation certificate. However, I do no have any degree awarded in my first 2 years of study as it is common to transfer to an university from community college in USA.
Now the problem is:
In my WES application, I have filled up both the college study for first 2 years and the University in last 2 years.
I have asked both community college and university to send the transcript to WES already, plus my copy of university graduation certificate.
However, I DO NOT have a graduation certificate from the community college which WES requires.
Can anyone help me solve this problem? I am worried my WES will not start evaluate my education as they said not all required documents are received. Can I send an explanation to WES to tell them the situation due to transferring from community college to University in USA? Will they consider that?
Anyone experience this transfer student situation before?
Besides, my 2 transcript has already reached WES on Saturday but my status is still "waiting for required documents". I heard that there is a link in the status account to show that which documents have been received and which one not; however, I can only find an overall status of "waiting for required documents". May I know where I can find that link?
Thanks
You can write in your annexure that your travel is to the best of your recollection and that you no longer have your old passport to verify. But you certainly shouldn't have a conflict between your form and your current passport.crewbunk said:One more enquiry on the travel history:
Will CIC reject my application if I mis-written the travel history or forget to fill some? Or as long as all those in and out in passport copies are shown in the travel history file that will be fine? This is because my country took my old passport back when I renewed it 5 years ago and I couldn't remember all my travel record....
Will they really verify all travel history??
Thanks!
pointer said:The Work experience requirement is not clear to me. My work history is as follows:
Current employer:
3.5 Years under NOC 2172 (Current job)
2.5 Years under NOC 2174 (between 2008 - 2010)
Previous employer:
1.5 Years under NOC 2173 (between 2006 - 2008)
I am not sure whether points are awarded for each NOC separately or are calculated for the entire work experience history. In other words, how many points I will be awarded for work history?
I would appreciate if somebody can explain this to me.
Thanks.
thanks.i am planning to send documents tomorrow with out PCC.future_canadian said:You can apply without PCC, but you will have to supply it later. Figure out now how you can obtain it from abroad so you can get it easily when the time comes.
1. Is there any way you can order a copy of your birth certificate from the government? If you can, do so. If you can't, explain in an annexure why you don't have your passport.pankhilsingh said:Hi Ashif,
Pls confirm me below mentined points:
1. Being a Primary Applicant my birth certificate is not available, what other option can I choose?
2. My wife's birth certificate is written in Punjabi language being her native place is Amritsar, Punjab, India, what can done?
3. In all of my documents(education cerficates and passport) my father name is with 'TT', but in Marriage certificate it is 'T'. My father's passport also has 'T' in his Given Name. Also I am claiming points for my brother being PR holder in Canada and as a proof of common relation I will be showing my father's passport. Please suggest.

"At birth" means her maiden name, not the name she took after marriage. I'm guessing her secondary school certificate contains the same name as her name at birth but on the small chance that her name was changed for any reason prior to secondary school, please be aware that the question asks what her name was ON THE DAY SHE WAS BORN.holic said:In Schedule A: Background/ Declaration, what to mention in my mother's family name at birth? Do I use her family name as per secondary school certificate as her family name changed after marriage (as per passport)?
