Re: Bank Draft (DD) How do we know, it is credited by CIC?

Credit Card is straight forward. We can see transactions to understand When CIC made the debit.

How about Bank Draft (D.D.)? How do we know, it is credited/ accepted by CIC? Any Ideas?
bro for the safe side go with dd.

cc are no doubt faster and quicker but there are problems with network system of issuing authority and some times it get failed to respond and hence due to this tiny thing people get rejected as their fees is not cashed.

the best thing to know whether dd is cashed or not, call ur bank/agency which issued it, ask them to check by providing its reference number. they will be able to tell you about its status. I know its a lengthy process and takes time but believe me its better then cc........remember its better to be late then to never!

Hi

I have a query.

I am at the same organization for over 5 years. I have started from the bottom and my responsibilities have got progressively more so that where it is now, it matches up with almost all of the NOC. The experience letter from my employer notes three different positions and gives the respective periods as well as demonstrate the progressive responsibilities. My question is this: On Schedule 3, Question 12b, I have noted the 3 different positions I was in (all in the same NOC), and in the Main Duties column on the form, I have written a synopsis of the duties of the least position (e.g. Intern), then for the next position promoted to, (because of limited space) I wrote - "Main duties as Intern in addition to ..." and listed a few additional progressive responsibilities, then finally for my current position which I am using to be assessed for the 2014 FSWP in 12a, I wrote "Main duties as [previous position] in addition to ..." and again listed a few additional progressive responsibilities. All of this information is given in more detail in the experience letter.

Is this an ok way to fill out this form?

I have applied in FSW-2011, but my application was returned due to cap reached to a limit. I have received a letter from CIO stating that we are returning your application as the NOC cap I have applied is full.

So, I just want to have some idea that they allocate the UCI no. to all applications received at CIO.
Do they have all my application details provided in that application..??

Please guide me on this.
don't worry, last year my app was also returned due to cap limit. they don't keep anything, nor issue uci or keep any record of all apps that are returned due to cap limits. don't worry abt it.

seniors please help in detail.

Regarding Birth Certificates

I have
a) Photocopy of my Japanese Birth Certificate as I was born in Japan
b) Photocopy of the English translation of above that was actually done by Indian embassy when I was born, so a very old document.

Now, I'd like to know 2 things here
1) Which of these two would require getting notarized? Can I not just submit both photocopies without notarization?
2) Do I have to send both ?
Someone to shed light on here please...?

Hi
I am a Pakistani, born and raised in Pakistan and now working as a Mechanical Engineer. I have recently thought about applying for the immigration under FSWP and immediately encountered a problem :'(
I have to send my documents to WES for my credential evaluation. For Pakistan, under the secondary education tab the had highlighted that i need to get my result and transcripts attested from the Intermediate Board of Secondary Education (IBSE). The thing is that i never went for this board, instead I appeared for GCE O Levels and GCE Alevels. The conducting body in Pakistan for these University of Cambridge International Examinations is British Council Org. The question is, how do I get these certificates attested and if its British Council, would WES accept that?

Thank you brother Ashif.....

What exactly should a reference letter include? Isnt the information to be included in the roles & responsibilities letter with designation, salary and tenure same for a reference letter.
Also I can include visitng cards of my manager and fellow employees. So what exactly should refeence letters state?
Basically ......a reference letter should introduce you as a staff of your organization stating atleast your date of employment and duration if it's not your current place of work.It should ideally state the duration with the company, list your job descriptions and roles,it should state your promotion status on each level,it should state your working hours per day and per week, your salary and other details as stated in the document checklist.
It should be written on the letter head paper of your company and signed...date by your immediate superior. If your company have stamp or seal.....apply it.
That's all....cheers.

Hi All, Can we change our Registed E mail-postal address with CIC?
No way.. Not at the moment. Once you get the PER only after that you will need to email them from the same email (entered in Generic form) and ask them to change the contact email address. Only then they will change it.

Remember this email address is the only thing which holds us with the consultants and CIC is very strict on that part.

Regards,
Amar

I object categorically. I am trying to guide(not misguide). This is one of tips to reduce the processing time by atleast 4 to 5 weeks.
The RPRF fee can be paid earlier with a single Bank Draft(with max. of six months validity on International DD).
For example, I paid CAD 2080 in single bank draft for me and my wife. So, it is 2* (550+490) = CAD 2080
When CIC accepts the draft for credit, They will deduct entire CAD 2080(not partial),
So, The 3Month/6Month validity goes out of window.
Also, If PR rejected, then the excess fee will be returned to applicant.
This(excess fee retrn) is clearly mentioned in "Pay your Fees" webpage in CIC website.
So, if it reduce processing times, Why not go for it:)
sweetypie,

please read the following explanation at the link regarding residential fee: http :// www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/fees/fees.asp
it says that "Applicants must pay this fee before CIC issues the permanent resident visa or before the applicant becomes a permanent resident in Canada" ...and that is waaaaay after one applies for fsw.
