Hi guys, just have a curious question:
is there any special reason why we don't see more new apps rejected on the SS ?
since 11/15 ?
i mean.. after 4 nocs capped i was guessing that the number would be increased...

Stop worrying. The ss is only voluntary. I learnt it the hard way when I noticed the Singapore VO is not going ahead at all. But I know, almost 100% that there are atleast 25 people who have got their Visa's stamped.

Reason: People from beginning of June are getting PPR, and people from end June are getting AOR. But there are 50 people who have not updated from September. Of these, I am pretty sure atleast 25 have gotten Visa's.

I remember they did similar offer to applicants when FSWP started

Everyone whose application has not been DD'ed or CC'ed, please note that if it is not DD'ed or CC'ed before 31st Dec, 2014, you might be dumped into the Express Entry pool of applications starting on 1st Jan 2015 or at least you will be offered either of the two options 1)return you back your application without charging you OR 2)-Transfer your application to Express Entry pool of applications.

Hi,

I am applying under 2171 code, Canada office received my application last Sept 19 and until now I haven't received any response/messages from them. How long does it usually take for the Canada office to review my documents? The bank I got my bank draft can't also confirm if the cheque has been encashed since they need to email nova scotia bank first and it will take three moths to get an answer from them. I am very worried already if the cap has been reached and I could not get in.

There is no such thing as Canada office. CIO stage takes minimum 4 months.

It will take considerable time for snail mail to reach the unlucky applicants. Another issue is that such applicants are generally hesitant to share their misfortune with others.

Bro MJay. You have done your side. Do not worry - let things take their course. If you are in the queue, impatience is natural but it has no implication on CIC. They are professional and even-handed. They will do their work on time. Do you have any option other than waiting? If you want to find out if your DD has been encashed, please ask your bank to confirm. You will have one more thing to worry about Chill bro - we are all in line here. Aap Qatar main hai..... Canada pahunchne main abhi thoda waqt hai Relax!

It is only loosely in the order or PER received. They will only send MR after background check, security check, verification of the documents are complete and time taken for the completion of these checks is different for each applicant. So, although in general, earlier applications will receive MR earlier that is not always the case. You have definitely no need to worry as of yet.

I'm in the same situation, June 04- Noc 1111 , CPC- Ottawa. Some people from May didn't get their MR , so don't worry they are just digging in your papers, and checking them thoroughly, like mine
I think your paperwork and mine is on the same desk and the officer just took a well deserved vacation

Hello SGVO Buddies,

Did anyone get the Passport stamped??
Looks like there are a number of applicants waiting with Status PP requested and MR. That too, I believe is one and the same thing for many as SGVO is sending PCC+MR+RPRF+PP request at one go. Unless, people just discontinue using portal after getting MR
I believe the real journey starts from here as most of us are going to a new country and can learn from each others experiences. So its utmost important to continue to be in touch.

How many days generally it takes for VO to update the MR received line on ECAS after MR exam??
