I have registered in this forum just today and it seems useful.

I am a Jordanian and I live in Saudi Arabia. I sent my application on 26th of April for NOC 2173 and it was received by CIO on 1st of May. Today, I got my CC charged. I got the message below, and I beleive it is from CIC

One more thing, the link to add entry in FSW 2014 sheet is blocked from Saudi Arabia, I think due to the abbreviation mechanism you use.

Jist want to know if we still needbto write N/A for UCI after we print it or just leave it blank?

And also, spaces on schedule A are very limited for data to be enter can anyone share what they did about it? Do you guys just typed in "refer to annexure xyz" in all the boxes or just the first row??

One more thing.
My father's name on my BC has Jr. But in his BC he doesn't havr Jr. Is an affidavit of descrepancy enough yonprove that xy Jr and xy is the same person?
I need his BC to prove that him and my aunt in canada are siblings.

..Irrespective of it being hot noc or not, I would say complete your documents asap and submit your application.
I feel this particular noc's cap might take some time before it reaches 1000....having said that...submit your app asap..

which should be opted for .....Do you senior members find difference in job duties except title is different...Please give ur views....!!!!!

Experts,

1) Any idea if if applying under NOC 1112 (Financial & Investment Analyst) is still in scope and away from 1000 Cap. Need 1 more day to send the package.

2) Is it ok to fill few sections by hand after taking out print of form after filling rest of the details on computer. e,g. sections like Name of institution and address history, space is less for few sections. Not sure if attaching a different sheet for such things is feasible

2. Yes this is acceptable, adding annexures is also acceptable.

Does the Principal Applicant also need to sign the forms of Spouse/Dependent (Additional Family Info, Background Declaration) in addition to signing his/her forms?

CIC has provided spaces for the signatures of the people they want to sign the form.

Hello everyone,

I had a query about proof of funds. I am already working full time in Alberta and applying for FSW this year. I am on a temporary work permit for 2 years. Should i still be showing proof of funds ?
The CIC website mentions that the proof is not required if I have an arranged employment, but does arranged employment mean permanent employment ?

In this context arranged employment means arranged employment that will receive 10 points under the selection factors, which the guide states is "a valid offer of permanent employment..." . The point is that if you already have a job lined up you will be able to support yourself. In your case, once your TWP expires you won't have a way to support yourself in Canada. So you do need to provide proof of funds.

2174 is for programmers and interactive developers like game developers. If you have less than 5 years of expertise and low level design, code and unit & integration test. You can apply for 2174. If are a senior developer and involved in high level design and do system integration and participate in performance test by wiring scripts then go for 2173

Congrats and good luck. You are the first report of a CC charge of anybody applying under the 2014 cap year. It has started!

If you can't enter your own info maybe you can post and the admin of the sheet will enter for you. It would be very useful to follow the progress of your application being that it arrived on May 1.
