Woke up few mins back and right away logged into my AMEX online statement. Realized that the available credit limit dropped by 1,100 CAD.

My CC has been finally charged !!! NOC 2171 31st July Applicant. The cc charging tension is finally over !

I would like to thank all the members who had given us hope .. especially Manish Bhai !!! God bless you !

There is no doubt you got to update the passport.

My suggestion, get the date extended and update the error. After that raise CSE to london and upload the scan copy of the passport. Also ask them if they need any information or further documents, you would supply.

Ray of hope for NDVO applicants, pending FSW 13 cases have started getting PPR requests (I have heard 5 in last 2 days from some source but got only proof of 1 on FSW 13 forum, here is the post). Soon FSW 14 cases will also get their turn.

Guys, I received yesterday the return of my application of 18/August (NOC 0111). The reason was banal: I have not signed the "Signature of cardholder" field of the form IMM 5620 (this is the form for credit card debt). This was the only reason given for the refusal letter from the CIO.

There were several brands of "check" in pencil in the documents, which apparently indicates that they found the rest of the process to be okay. The posting date was 27/10 in Canada and the envelope arrived yesterday, 12/11 , at my house in Brazil.

I signed the document they returned, printed a new version of the form and I'll resend today by Fedex. Now I will be back to the end of the line and have to keep waiting!

I am sharing this story to warn you that all details are important. A small mistake like this I made, makes your process to be returned.

In conclusion, I say I can not complain about anything, it was my mistake and that is all. The letter from CIO is very polite and goes straight to the issue, with the factors of refusal highlighted with yellow highlighter pen. At the end of the letter they even thank you for your interest in Canada.

Just wanna share this for 2173 - August applicants (to give hope and inspiration)...


I was able to talk with a fellow Pinoy in FB group and he has same experience as mine. He was a 2174 - June 20 (DD mode) applicant. When 2174 reached 1000 capacity, he got worried because last charging was June 19 and he didn't know the status of his application if included in the 1000 cap. After 2 weeks, he emailed LVO (Manila - VO) to inquire about his status and had known that his application is already In-Transit to the Visa Office. Also, he got his UCI number.

As per conversation with him, the update for 2174 (Oct 10 - with June 19 as last charged date) even reached the date of July 4 applicants. This means that August applicants has hope for PER as long as no problems with the documents.

I am an Aug 13 and the last charge date for 2173 is Aug 12. I hope this helps to all 2173 who's like me a worried pal. ;D

Shah , Thanks for posting this information.But even that candidate got it after 4 months of MR.Though we can expect speed in this year from all visa offices in ahead of launch of EE program by Canadian Government.

Indeed this is good news but I think first PPR from NDVO may start in the month of December for 2014 Candidates...rest either god knows or NDVO knows
