To show your proof of fund,you can either print your bank statements or the bank balance certificate......it depends on your situation.
Documents checklist did not say only bank balance statement .....you can check to confirm again.

If only a bank balance certificate is supplied now. Is it likely VO will later ask for corresponding statements for further verification when the application is under process? What if the amount as declared in certificate fluctuates in these statements provided at a later stage?

My birth certificate don't have my father's name on it :-[

Here in india when we go for an affidavit they mentioned only the fathers name and my name but did not mention my mothers name in that is it ok ?

Yes.
Original IELTS and ECA........while the rest are photocopies.
Original PCC if you have it....if not,you can provide it later.
You havnt mention you passport photographs for you and your spouse.......both of you need to submit 6 each.
Remember that for your six passports,you will write your full names,date of passport and birthdate at the back of 5 passports and leave the 6th one blank.
You will also put the details of your spouse at the back of 5 of her passport photographs and leave the 6th one blank.
Don't forget to check and check and check again for any error.
If you are using cc .....don't forget to sign your fee payment form in section B.
If it's DD,don't forget to include it in your package before sending.

This might sound a bit silly, but I was thinking whether one can provide card details in the fee payment form as well as send them a DD. Just in case the first fails, latter can be used to charge the applicant? Anybody's done that yet ?

Yes...they may ask.
Even if it fluctuates ,the most important thing is for you to have the POF for your family size in your account whenever they ask for the updates.

My application reached CIO on 8th May. I have shown only bank balance certificate as settlement proof. I want to give major part of it to my brother for business investment. My question is,

What are the chances of VO asking for 6 months bank statement while processing? or should I necessarily keep the amount in my account for showing it to VO later??

In that's case,if you going/looking for an 100% assurance that you won't have problem for payment issues,.....only DD can give you such assurance .
I can give you 200% assurance that DD is the perfect mode of payment.......it never get rejected provided the validity is active!

Sorry for confusions...Actually, instead of specifying the 'birth certificate', I specified 'marriage certificate'....Please see the query re-iterated, request for your advise.

Myself and wife does't have marriage certificate. Birth cetificates

1) I have 10th certificate and in that, they have mentioned my name, dob and parents name. so I think, if I get a photo copy of that and get it notrized that is enough for me - Or do I need an affidivat on top of that ? Pls advise

2) For my wife, the required 3 details are not there in the school certificates. So I believe an affidivat needs to be taken. so should the affidivt be given by her mother (father is no more) ? Or does the affidiavt needs to be self ? (Both cases, with notary)

There is every possibility that they will ask later.
They will not ask for 6 months account (unless they specifically pick you out which i doubt).
They will only ask you to provide proof of fund for your family size at the requested time.When they ask you,be prepared to give them their response whether bank statement or statement of account ...whichever way its requested.
From experiences,they just wanna know that you have the amount in your account as at when they ask you.

In one of the rejection mention below

so is is mandatory to have both father and mother name in birth certificate.

Same query here. My birth certificate only has provision for one parent's name. It says Father's/Mother's name.
