As long as u have the work exp on NOC 1123, u can apply...But in this case ur work letters need to be strong.Its not stated anywhere that, education matching uis a required one..

U can do below:

Work experience requirement:


1. Job duties on Company Letter head.
2. Full time /Working hour should be mentioned.
3. Company's seal if applicable

Additional:

5. Appointment/contract letter
6. Payslip (3 months will be enough)
7. Business card of applicant and referee (reference letter's).

Better get a DD, RBI might have given some special instructions for approval of overseas CC payments. Why take extra risk, spend DD charges and hedge your risks.

In the accompanying letter, ICICI says that all CC that has been used for overseas payment are being replaced with a new CC as per RBI guidelines. My old CC would be valid for only 30 more days.

So, I would request all CC payment folks here (specially from ICICI Bank) to please check with their bank.

Please help me to find out suitable NOC for following responsibilities. I am confused in between 2171 and 2173 because my tasks involve Business Analysis, Testing, Training and sometimes participated in Technical Pre-sales (RFPs & demos) as well.

1. Study the organization's existing processes to recognize the weaknesses and recommended enhancements with the help of best practices.

2. Monitor the efficiency of the processes execution and to implement improved processes in upcoming projects.

3. Interact with client in all phases of SDLC for understanding the requirement and expectations and take immediate actions on client's feedback.

4. Elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios and business analysis.

5. Analyze the client's existing system and compare with organization's system and recommends the modifications with minimal cost and time required.

6. Prepare and review business requirement documents and signed-off from client including Software Requirement Specification, Use Cases, UML, Mockups, etc.

7. Sessions with Project Manager, Development team and Testing team to ensure that requirements are correctly understood and delivered for implementation.

8. Review of technical design based on functional requirements and suggest improvements.

9. Work closely with project manager and technical team to assist in finalizing the project scope, resources assignment and timelines for delivery.

10. Prepare and review test plan, test cases, automated scripts, defects reporting, execution of different testing types functional, performance, GUI, Database, etc. and lead testing team.

11. To update project team about the quality of system with defects report and testing cycles.

12. Responsible for releases deployments.

13. Responsible to conduct training and writing user manual.

14. Involved in user acceptance testing and change management process

15. Pre-Sales activities including client handling, conduct product demos, project proposals writing, technical and functional RFP fulfillment, resource/cost estimations, etc.

Technically,I will go for NOC 2171 as I see your technical involvement with clients but administratively,you can go for NOC 2173.
The good part from the Canadian NOC2011 table is that,both are related and one can substitute for one another.
if you are yet to submit as of now, base on our estimation on the 2014FSE sheet,NOC 2173 will fill earlier than NOC2171....just 3 days!......this is just an estimation as it may not be accurate.

Please if possible,USE DD to avoid any payment issues that may accompany your newly issued card.

You are expected only to send(by courier) your photocopies degree/diploma certificates to WES....academic request form is not needed for this.
Your academic institution is to send your transcripts(or/and marksheets) to WES including the academic transcripts form because the officer that release it from your school has a portion to fill and sign off.

Its not compulsory but just to be on the safer side....you can include a generated payment receipt copy that have your reference number along with your degree certificate photocopy to WES.
Not that its necessary...its just advisable.

By 'Inside the package' I meant that along with the other docs you will be sending. Just put your WES Reference number on a white paper and put it in the envelope. It does not mean inside the University attested envelope.

For being produced DB certificates of my aunt and whole family tree was not possible for reasons as they passes away 3 yeas back.

You can also use their marriage certificate. If you don't have the marriage certificate, try to produce documents that specify their name of their parents and date of birth.

Regarding producing family tree, you can draw with computer like hierarchy chart. At the top box, your maternal grand parents, under this, their children, under their children, you and your cousin against respective parent.

"House wife" or same "Consultant"? She does intend to work once if and when we are there but obviously I can't tell what job/designation she will get.

a. Under Education, for Primary/Elementary - Secondary/High School - University/College - Trade School /Other Post Secondary School, what numbers do I put? I have usual 1st to 10th in Mumbai, India. Then 11th and 12th in a junior college in Mumbai, India. Followed by 4 years B.E. in Mumbai, India and then 2 years M.S. in USA.
Should it be 4-6-8-0 or 10-2-4-2? Usually, its 5 +7+6 (primary is usually 5 or 6 but could be 4 in your country)

b. What is the "field of study" for S.S.C. (10th standard certificate)? Gen. Science (thats what i filled)

c. Under "Type of certificate/diploma issued", I need to say "B.E." or "Bachelors"? type is Bachelors, field of study is engineering
d. For Personal History / Activity / Work History entered anywhere, do I put "Present" or "2014/06" when submitting application or leave it empty? There is no room for "Present" to be written.

a. Can you confirm it is only the NAMES of people which has to be written in regional language in addition to in English (not Address, Status, etc. too).

There is some crucial information, withour which application is deemed incomplete,
then there is info which shud have been provided, but not crucial in terms of the decision to be made.

From previous posts, i have learnt that CIC guys even make changes to the application if there is minor inconsistency where information has been provided at some other place (if the info is not crucial).

Name in native scipt is imp, but not crucial to the decision. SO relax, they might ask you to provide another form or write the name at later stage. Remember, in one of the forms it says "Leave the following blank, you may be asked to complete it at later stage infront of Canadian Authoroties"

Yes, leaving it blank may add few weeks to your visa stamping nothing more than that. Haven't heard of any case which was rejected because of this issue, and trust me reasonable # of applicants miss it.

With my Job Title = Quality Assurance Lead, if I choose 2171 (Business Analyst) - will it confuse VO? because tasks of QA Analyst mentioned on CIC website are totally different than Testing (which is part of my JD).

Information systems quality assurance analysts develop and implement policies and procedures throughout the software development life cycle to maximize the efficiency, effectiveness and overall quality of software products and information systems.

With my Job Title = Quality Assurance Lead, if I choose 2173 - (Software Engineer) - will it confuse VO in terms that I don't do development (coding) of software?

Which NOC will be more suitable as per aforesaid scenario?

Try to get a new one for a latest date.

I think u can submit same letter since its not too old. Because roles don't change in 2-3 months..as long as the letter is 6 months old.. It should be ok

One questions for the Assets as per the form "imm0008_3e.pdf", pls help to understand...

Assets - We have an agriculture land on my father's name however my name is there in the will and to get the transfer of land on my name its a long process with lot of amount spending in India. Is there any way out that I can show the same Assets in Canadian dollars in my Application?

In case your father is not alive, you can show your percentage of will as assets valued at current market price. You may not provide any supporting. For settlement fund, supporting is mandatory.
