I just noticed I did not written Additional Family Information - IMM5406E in native language. Is it mandatory to fill in native language?
My application reached yesterday to CIC sydney. will they return my package due to this? Please advise. I am bit tensed now.

1. U will need to send as per below (no need of SSC/HSC):

Educational Credential Assessment by WES :

Here is the procedure for ECA by WES:

a. First apply thru WES's website and do the payment and take the ref no. (will emailed also) 180 CAD now (7 days assessment)...


and check the required docs for ur country:


Now for Bangladesh/India:

b. Then fill up the International_Transcript_Request.pdf and put the ref no there.

c. need to take a printed version of International_Transcript_Request.pdf to the university controller office and request him to fill the remaing portion of the International_Transcript_Request.pdf and make true copy of the transcript + cert. he will easily understand coz they have to do such things frequently to recommend students to foreign education. Only one copy --(WES form +Cert+transcript).

d.Finally he gonna give u a sealed envelop that contains attested copy of transcript + cert + International_Transcript_Request.pdf


e. Courier the sealed envelope via fedex by urself to WES address:

couple of questions pls :
1) You said (transcript + cert + International_Transcript_Request.pdf) : Transcripts means xerox copies of all BTech certificates attested by the registrar/controller of exams.
2) And "Cert" means - do we need to send include a copy of all certificates?
3) And is International_Transcript_Request.pdf mandatory? because as i was not aware, i have already applied for transcripts and they are ready without the request.pdf. even if i go to the university to have them fill request.pdf form the date on the form will be a later date than that of transcripts. Will that be okay? or do i need to take fresh transcripts.

Please suggest.

For both questions, answer is yes. But note that none of the assets you mentioned are not Settlement Fund.

Hi all,

I was filling the forms , have some questions please help.

1 . My passport has my given name as 'harshdeep singh' and surname as blank(empty). So what should i fill in family name and given name(s) fields of generic form?? both of them are mandatory fields .i can not leave family name as blank.

2. My designation in company is Systems Engineer and my noc is 2174(which doest have this job title but JobDuties match exactly).
in EDUCATION\OCCUPATION DETAILS section of generic form, what should we write in current and intented occupation? In current occupation can i write software developer or I must write Systems Engineer(my current designation). and in intented, can i write software developer or I must write exact NOC(software developer and interactive media programmer) ?

3. there r certain fields in forms where I should write NA but computer not allowing me write anything(should i write after printing forms or any other solution)

4. In economic classes form, ques 12(your work experience), NOC is 2174 but, what must be written in occupation . Systems engineer(my designation) or exact NOC(software developer and interactive media programmer) or i can write software developer.

5. and what is the best mode of payment?

I had similar problem with name on passport.You can change the name on passport by making an affidavit of name change Hardeep Singh to Singh Hardeep and newspaper add in Hindi and English.Verification will be after issuance of passport.In tatkaal you can get it within 7 days.Empty surname can cause problems if you have any plans for USA.

Hi all, I'm new here and would like to know a few things regarding settlement funds:

1. I've read PPF account can be used a proof, what documents would be required for this, just the passbook or some letter from the bank?
2. My wife has also got a PPF account, can I use it for this purpose?
3. I've some FDs, with my father as joint holder, however, I'm the primary account holder and the money is mine. Tax liability also lies with me and can be seen in my TDS forms (Form 26A of my PAN etc). Can these FDs be used to show funds? If yes, what documents are required?
4. I've got a couple of Mutual funds also, "HDFC Equity Fund-Growth" and "HDFC Top 200 Fund-Growth". Can these be used and documents required if yes?

So far I have not noticed this coz for returning application....some of the prev yr appliacnt did that(cant remember them now)

In that case u may be ignored from CIC and when it will be transferred to ur local Visa office they may ask u updated Sch A form.....

Its ur luck (inc case for same day)...Coz courier companies usually deliver the CIC application package once in a day....(as per my experience)....

And can u please tell us --about what docs u are talking for the notarization...?

I have added my Education offer letter (I20) where i went to study in Australia. I forgot to notarize this offer letter copy and my visa copy. Would this be a problem and i have added bank statement where i moved funds from my parents account to mine would this be ok and lastly sorry for the trouble my query was lets say your file and my file was reached cic at same time how would they decide in these instance to which goes in cap first.

With my Job Title = Quality Assurance Lead, if I choose 2171 (Business Analyst) - will it confuse VO? because tasks of QA Analyst mentioned on CIC website are totally different than Testing (which is part of my JD).

Information systems quality assurance analysts develop and implement policies and procedures throughout the software development life cycle to maximize the efficiency, effectiveness and overall quality of software products and information systems.

With my Job Title = Quality Assurance Lead, if I choose 2173 - (Software Engineer) - will it confuse VO in terms that I don't do development (coding) of software?

Which NOC will be more suitable as per aforesaid scenario?

Software Engineer cant be only developers Bro...But yes ur JD as per you have written are 40% Analyst 60% Software Engg...I will Suggest to check JD for Both roles in Some Canadian jobs website ..Its my personal Opinion ..I have done for mine ...As my roles were fitting into three NOCS
