hi guys my app was received on July 29 , can anyone give me an estimate when might it get charged relative to the ss ?

I think the biggest reason for rejection at that point would be security check failure.

In most other cases, if they have questions, you'll be called in for an interview to clarify (and of course they can reject if you fail to clarify to their satisfaction).

Has anyone's file been rejected so far (before MR request) while been processed at the remote VO? If so, what were the reasons?

Depends on the mood at CIO....they are still charging 11th and 14th July Apps.
If they are already in the weekend mood...you would not see a single charge

I had sent an enquiry regarding the status of my file to cio-sydney-search-enquiry@cic.gc.ca. I have got an email from them stating that my application has been received and is in the queue for processing and they have given a nine digit file number for the same starting with 'E'. Can anyone explain the significance of this?

That is you file no. You have to use that no. in any future correspondence with CIC regarding your current application.

The latest one I can remember was 14th july (CC). I was merely stating the range. . Good luck with your process.

I thought I had read that the POF was not Assets-liabilities because my POF is in a bank certificate and cant be used to pay liabilities. Bank certificate cant be touched for a year.
Thos liabilities are payed monthly with our salaries.

Obviously, Asset-liability is not POF. All assets are not liquid hence can't be shown as POF.

At which bank? What method of pay?
They all refuse cheques... Im becoming desperate... For a credit card it takes 2 weeks to make one...

I don't no whether to congratulate applicants (NDVO) who have got their second line updated or what...Honestly there is an applicant on SS
vivesehg whose current status is "We started processing your application on September 2 2014" has not received MR request as yet..Im in same boat..No news yet..
I don't no when will NDVO guys start issuing MR to us...n obviously wait is killing but still keeping the cool and fingers crossed..
Any update from those who have got second line update ...Kindly post it.....
Admins kindly guide us as when can we expect MR.....
