When i took the PCC, I got it on the same day (40 minutes in PSK). From PSK Thripunithura (Kochi). I live in Bangalore for 10 years.

they issued the PCC on the same day. I asked him if there are no verification, he said, when my passport was taken a police verification was done (in 2004) so this is based on that.

so if your passport has been verified once and the address is the same place, you dont have to worry i believe!

I faced exactly the opposite in PSK Chandigarh. I reside in the same address as in my passport, which was issued in 2013 (Verification also done at that time). But PSK staff chose to do verification once again. So I think it will take 10-15 days to get the PCC.

Can someone share his /her experience on how to get the passport photo done in the USA as per Canadian specification ?
Is there any store or it is generally through a photographer ?
Would grateful if someone sheds some light on this topic.

We got the 2x2 photos clicked n printed from costco and then made a stencil/template photo on a transparent paper like a folder cover . Then used the template to make markings around the 2x2 photo and cut it. It was time consuming but worked .

I means did u discuss with anyone...I mean if NDVO doesnt take online fee why the FUCK they online link. How would anyone know if its right or wrong.

I THINK ITS GENERAL LINK FOR INDIA BHUTN NEPAL AFGANISTAN. AS FAR AS I KNOW IN NEPAL VISA OR MASTERCARD DOESNT WORK. MAY THATS WHY THEY HAVE MENTIONED ABOUT PAYING BY DD.

I also faced the same situation as Gur2010. My passport was reissued last year and police verification was done before that but DCP office did the verification once again. So I think it is their choice if they want to do it or not and lets leave this concern only for them.[/size][/size][/size][/size][/size][/size][/size]

I think anyone, who sought help from the consutants to apply for PR can help us by asking their consultants. (When I say consultant, not just a person/agent, must be some good reputed agencies can help us)

As my understanding, completeness check have reached July applicants, and the CC has being charged till first week of July applicants.

Maybe seniors can share more on this..

i think at this time completeness check must be on for august applicant as many July last week applicants got back their application....

but you never know as July applicant as the transit time from Canada to place of applicant differ from 1 to 2 months.... wait till cc charged or DD en-cashed or 1 month after this .....

I can tell you the real experience for PCC from PSK from New Delhi... It took just 4 working days for me to get PCC for myself as the address in passport was not same as my current residence.. They do the police verification if addresses are different. SO, first day I went to PSK..next day I got a call from Police HQ that someone will contact and come to me in next couple of days for verification...third day I called at the same number from where I got the call... They gave me the contact number of the officer who had my file for verification..I called him and he said that he will come in a day or two..I said its urgent and he came on the same evening for the verification..and next day I saw the online status of PSK that PCC has been granted. I also got SMS from PSK that I can come anytime with original valid passport.. Although I went after 3-4 days after getting the sms but overall it took just 4 days...

My wife has same address and it took just 2 hrs on the first day..

I have emailed Delhi Immigration (the email that i received MRR) asking the confusion on online payment. Will update if i get any reply!!!!
