Exactly. This sentence leads us to the local VO site (NDVO), which says "Fees are payable in Canadian dollars or Indian Rupees. Only bank drafts (demand drafts) or certified cheques are accepted; cash is not accepted for fee payment. The bank draft should be made for the exact amount and in favour of "Canadian High Commission" or "Receiver General for Canada" payable at New Delhi."

I guess, we need a clarity from someone who really knows it. May be from a reputed consultancy firm for Canada? Just a thought.
I know here we have many experts but everyone is in this stage for the 1st time.

I asked my friend to get the information from his consultant, a reputed company, who has registered office in Canada and branches in India.
He just called me said "The consultant informed him that NDVO, India accept only DD/Certified cheque"
He told me that he checked twice with the consultant, who was assigned to him as well as with their immigration support team.

I am lost
Does anyone have any known person, who applied in 2013 batch and got the visa from NDVO after paying online RPRF?

Dear Rajesh,

I am also 30th June Applicant with DD as my mode of payment, stay connected. I made the DD from Dubai Exchange and as per them DD usually get en cashed in 5 - 15 days so in some cases the this may vary bank to bank. I tried to call Dubai exchange for update but as per them it will take 4-5 working days to get the status. Please keep posted each other. As per the calculations CIC is taking 4-5 more working days on DD applicant fees en cashment so as per the trend all our DD'S Should be charged only after 19th October and PER is taking 8- 10 working days so keep the hope alive till 31st Oct to 5th Nov.

Hi friends .. Having tough time for PCC.. I was in Banglore for 5 years and now in kochi my current city .. If PSK goes for verification how long they can take to issue a PCC please help

When i took the PCC, I got it on the same day (40 minutes in PSK). From PSK Thripunithura (Kochi). I live in Bangalore for 10 years.

they issued the PCC on the same day. I asked him if there are no verification, he said, when my passport was taken a police verification was done (in 2004) so this is based on that.

so if your passport has been verified once and the address is the same place, you dont have to worry i believe!
