Dear all,
Need your urgent advice pls

Me and my wife had applied in two different NOCs,My wife got her PER on 8th Oct and mine CC got charged today i.e 22nd Oct.
I want to withdraw my application.
Pls clarify:
At what stage application can be withdrawn i.e at CIO or after getting transferred to VO?
Whether CIO or VO will inform us to withdraw one file OR we have to initiate the process. What is the withdrawal procedure.
Will i get refund or not?

Ours was an e-medical clinic. We had the IMM1017 filled up and gave it to them, which they took. But gave us back a photocopy of an information sheet, which had the same fields as of IMM1017 (it wasn't the form we had filled and gave to them, they didnt even take the photos from us).

This particular information sheet had doc's seal and handwritten date on which the test was taken.

+1 to you. What about the IMM1017 form? They gave you back the original or a copy?

I think the ministerial instruction are clear. They said that this program will remain open until the cap fills( 25000) or no new ministerial instructions order CIC to do otherwise. If new ministerial instruction published in January 2015 orders CIC to stop, CIC would simply follow new instructions and close FSW.

Guys, I just called CIC via my brother in law in Canada.
The agent confirmed that FSW will stop accepting applications once Express Entry Starts.

Although ministerial instructions are still stating that its until April 30, 2015. This is not true, he also verified this information with a senior agent.
For all those still waiting to apply...get everything done ASAP before Dec 2014.

sorry to hear that.... did you receive any email message that your package will be returned? or you knew only when you got your package returned?

if it is return yesterday , and same is send in normal post than it will take next 1 month , prepare new file and send dont loose hope if you are out again it is hardluck but you will never regret that you didnt try

you will only have expense for ielts second copy, and courier charges think that it was a nice dinner in taj try it you can make it

think that this is your first attempt

Century...A minimum of a Masters degree is required for University Lecturers. No Nigerian University for example, can allow you teach without a masters degree. same is applicable in Canada.

Dear all,

My NOC is 1123, and my application received CIO on June 20, 2014.

Unfortunately my Bank intimated to me of the credit card attempt on October 15th, 2014, and when we inquired through the history of attempts it was the 2nd one, however, upon contacting CIC through rigorous efforts, on October 20, 2014, we got thru the call centre agent via [size=10pt]CIO Helpline 0016139444000 [/size]who checked and confirmed that three attempts have already been made, and she cannot say what CIC will do now. She asked us to email CIC again, although there is no guarantee of what they will do.

I have gone through the forum in detail and have found out that in majority of the cases, application is returned. But we have emailed CIC to explain the situation to them and given them two options, either try charging the card again or give us an option of sending DD thru our representative, our friend who is in Canada only, and ensuring them of no time lag.

Will any of the two options be acceptable to them?

Moreover, in case the application returns to our representative, and he sends it back with fresh Fee form and DD, will all the forms that we had sent will be signed by us again in new date or old June dates make no difference?

Can we send old application with new payment form and an affidavit explaining our situation that we have only altered the fee form, or the entire application needs to be redone?

I request the seniors of the forum to assist me on urgent basis as we had done everything and just a minor glitch has led us back in the waiting line and we do not know what actions we can take now! [/size]

Very sorry to know about your case. Your efforts are really impressive. If they consider recharging your cc them theproblem is resolved. But in my limited knowledge the chances are very remote.
considering 2nd option you should immediately fill and sign all new forms and send the same to your representative in case of refilling. Then it will be a new application.

Even if you try sending with affidavit of explanation or with old forms it will be a very High Risk

Do you not have your recent statements from that account? If you have them you can provide them. If not, you should get a letter from the bank explaining the situation that the account had to be closed and why.

this is strange but you can get all your bank records from them , it will never go from bank records
also if you are receiving bank statement on email you can get records

lastly if you are not able to get send me separate message will guide you how to get

Thank you so much seniors (ashif bhai, century bhai and too many others to name here) for all your invaluable help and guidance. I'd have been lost in the process without you guys. From filling up the forms, to attaching the correct documents, and to pass the long waiting period.....An amazing community you have built here- hope it continues forever...

I had deliberately kept my hopes low as my weakest link in the application was the Employer reference letter but I had managed to keep my nerves on hold till today. Somehow however this morning, I cracked and sent an enquiry mail to CIC only this morning....and received PER in evening ..should have held on a little longer.....

For future applicants, wish you the best of luck and for your information- I was one of those applicants who were unable to obtain Employer reference letter containing job duties. So I attached the following-
a. Offer Letter, Promotion Letters, Form 16s, 3 months Salary Slips, Std. Reference Letter containing Designation and period of employment, Notarized Self-declaration detailing my inability to submit Job duties letter, Screenshot of my Job Responsibilities from the Company Intranet page
b. Reference Letter from Colleague containing job duties along with colleague's business card (Note- colleague as in, someone in the same role as me in my team, because I didn't dare ask my Supervisor, or Seniors for fear of the next appraisal )

Time for a long partyyy especially as it's a holiday tomorow and to my fellow forumites from India, wish you a very happy and prosperous Diwali ....After that I will be back with more queries about the rest of the process (and provide any help that I can)

Will skilled immigrants be considered under both the current immigration program rules and Express Entry in 2015?

No. Each application is assessed according to the eligibility requirements and caps in place at the time CIC receives it. In order to be considered for Express Entry, people will have to express interest separately (starting in January 2015) using a new electronic application management system. There will not be any application caps or occupation lists at the launch of Express Entry.
