1.What is the difference between reference letter and experience letter?
2.If my husband NOC 4011 has 2 years as part time professor at university (20 hours a week) does that equal 1 year full time experience?
3.What is the difference between university professor and lecturer?
4.Copy of original language documents need only stamp and signature of public notary?

1. Reference letter contains all information of your employement including work period, employement type, job description etc etc.(refer to document cic document checklist for fsw reference letter requirements).

2. Work of 36 hrs a week is considered as full time experience. So your husband needs to have equivalent experience (need to do some mathematics to find out how many years if experience required to be equvelent to 36 hours a week in one year.)

3. In my limited knowledge these are two diffrent designations based on their education or/and experience.

4. Copy of original language document means original certificate or trf of your language test (ielts etc.) And not the notarized xerox of that certificate or trf.

Any June 30 applicant charged since Friday Oct 17? I have consulted SS but it doesn't show when CC was charged. Anxiously waiting... i hope my app is not on its way back!! Huh

No, you are getting it wrong. The whole idea behind this option to change VO is to make it more convenient for you to communicate with the Canadian authorities during your temporary stay in another country when you lodge the app for immigration. Supposedly, I was legally admitted to France for 1 year 15 years ago. Can I chose Paris VO for processing my app now?

As I interpret, if one is currently in that country, and has got a valid 1 year work permit, and intends to be there also, he can put that VO. I think that is what future_canadian was meaning. Eager to correct myself based on facts.
The wordings read..
"your country of nationality, or
the country in which you are residing, provided that you have been lawfully
admitted to that country for at least one (1) year."

Dear all,
Need your urgent advice pls

Me and my wife had applied in two different NOCs,My wife got her PER on 8th Oct and mine CC got charged today i.e 22nd Oct.
I want to withdraw my application.
Pls clarify:
At what stage application can be withdrawn i.e at CIO or after getting transferred to VO?
Whether CIO or VO will inform us to withdraw one file OR we have to initiate the process. What is the withdrawal procedure.
Will i get refund or not?

Guys, I just called CIC via my brother in law in Canada.
The agent confirmed that FSW will stop accepting applications once Express Entry Starts.

Although ministerial instructions are still stating that its until April 30, 2015. This is not true, he also verified this information with a senior agent.
For all those still waiting to apply...get everything done ASAP before Dec 2014.

The guy's permit is expiring in Feb15, and his wife's - in Sep15. We are now in Oct14, so there's no valid 1 year work permit that would grant him the power to chose CPC-O.

Call them and ask the same question again. I bet you will get different answer. When ever I had a question, I called them 3-4 times to get accurate answer.

Hi All,

I have a strange situation. I went to do my medicals on 18th Oct in Fortis, Bangalore. We are a family of four. The youngest one is 12 months old. The doctor had nothing to say about the three of us. But for the younger one was referred to a pediatrician coz her weight was falling in the 3rd percentile (did not completely understand what that means. Just that her weight is below average). The pediatrician examined her and gave a report mentioning that the development is normal. But she also mentioned that periodic pediatric visits are required. I do not know what would be the effect of that statement. Can somebody throw a light on this aspect? Any doctors out there who can give me some perspective?

After completing the consultation with the pediatrician I gave my file and the report to the front office. They said everything is done and they would send the reports to CIC. They gave copies of the MR form for four of us.

Just today I was preparing all the documents viz., Medicals, PCC, RPRF etc when I noticed that the original report from the pediatrician is with me. I do not know why they gave it back to me. I called up the hospital only to be informed that staff has left for the day. They would not be available tomorrow either. So I am right now caught in a dilemma. What should be my next step? Wait until Friday or go ahead and post my documents to NDVO? Please suggest.

I am a paramedic as far as i know if report says growth normal then its absolutely fine .pediatrician might hav just told to consult for the sake of increasing body weight of baby through sone therapy.
And as with original report.i believe MR reports are confidential one which expected tio be forwarded by DMPs only.so return the original report to fortis and ask dem to forward them as. An additiion if 1report has been sent or else they can send it altogether ..ashte saar sulabha.

PLEASE HELP

Dear all,

My NOC is 1123, and my application received CIO on June 20, 2014.

Unfortunately my Bank intimated to me of the credit card attempt on October 15th, 2014, and when we inquired through the history of attempts it was the 2nd one, however, upon contacting CIC through rigorous efforts, on October 20, 2014, we got thru the call centre agent via [size=10pt]CIO Helpline 0016139444000 [/size]who checked and confirmed that three attempts have already been made, and she cannot say what CIC will do now. She asked us to email CIC again, although there is no guarantee of what they will do.

I have gone through the forum in detail and have found out that in majority of the cases, application is returned. But we have emailed CIC to explain the situation to them and given them two options, either try charging the card again or give us an option of sending DD thru our representative, our friend who is in Canada only, and ensuring them of no time lag.

Will any of the two options be acceptable to them?

Moreover, in case the application returns to our representative, and he sends it back with fresh Fee form and DD, will all the forms that we had sent will be signed by us again in new date or old June dates make no difference?

Can we send old application with new payment form and an affidavit explaining our situation that we have only altered the fee form, or the entire application needs to be redone?

I request the seniors of the forum to assist me on urgent basis as we had done everything and just a minor glitch has led us back in the waiting line and we do not know what actions we can take now! [/size]

I am planning to apply under noc 0311 and my Education is Bachelor of Dental Sciences. I am from India. I paid WES and they asked me to submit the following

1) Photocopies of Original degree certificates attested and dated by the Controller of Examinations or Registrar's Office

2) Mark sheets to be sent directly to WES by the institution responsible for conducting the examinations

You may have Photocopies of your original mark sheets attested and dated by the Controller of Examinations or Registrar's Office.


I did as they mentioned by having Photocopies of my Original Degree and Photocopies of Mark sheets Both Attested by Controller of Examination. BUT they haven't done Attestation to my 1 year Internship certificate. Is that fine??? and also Is it ok to send Attested photocopies of Mark sheets OR Is it mandatory to send Only Transcripts of Mark sheets??? Please help. Thank you!!!!

If one doesn't have valid work permit, then obviously, we cant put that vo.
But, even if one has just spent a few days residing in the country, but still has a valid work permit for 1 year on the day of application, he can put that VO.
