fallcolors2014 said:Folks need your advise here. Just received the official request for MR, RPRF and PCC today, this was followed with an earlier mail with only the MR
It says this "Police Certificate: From each country/state where the residence period has been six months or longer since the age of 18, provide an original police clearance certificate INDIAN POLICE CLEARANCE CERTIFICATE FOR YOU AND YOUR SPOUSE."
Now I am confused here a bit, I did submit my PCC along with the application, this was issued from the Passport Office which is still valid. So why is it that they are still asking for me to submit one basis their letter?
Is it because I have stayed in more than one state in India for more than 6 months (In my case Karnataka and Tamilnadu) ? I had mentioned this in the history of the addresses I had lived in, in the background decleration form.
Kindly advise I am lost a bit here, am I expected to submit the PCC from each state that I have lived in? Thanks in advance. Cheers!!
Congrats. Just sent you PCC again it doesn't matter where have you stayed. There many factors behind receiving PCC request again.
