Hi All,

I checked my app status with the help of client id which I had from my previous work permit and the status shows "In Process".

And it has been mentioned as "We received your application for permanent residence on June 5, 2014".

But I have not received the PER email yet (CC charged on 24th Sept).

Please help what exactly this status meaning.

I have submitted application under NOC 2133 . What is the chances making under cap. Few places I have written with pen. Is it an issue??

No it's fine to fill some places with pen if needed.

Hi,

I had picked category 1112 (financial and investment analyst) while applying for qualification assessment with ICAS. but later on, I have decided to apply under category 0111 (Financial managers). I have received the assessment report and it just says that the bachelor is equivalent to Canadian bachelor and MBA is equivalent to Canadian MBA. It does not mention anything about the category on the assessment report.

I would like to ask for guidance if I am eligible to apply under different category now.

But I have been told by the consultants that They (CIO Sydney) are not that bothered as long as the duties match with the duties given under the category I apply for.

Can someone please advise?

Hey future_canadian, NO there is no mention of visa office, it says "Please inform the visa office". I had chosen CPC Ottawa in my application and if they had some Chinese address How can I use CPC??? so I hope they they haven't messed up tht part!. So wht you think is the best course of action.

FSW2014 will continue till April 30th 2015

no -- Any new Ministerial instructions will overwite preivous rules - having said that EE set to launch Jan 1st - there wont be any more FSW acceptance of applications effective Jan 1st

My friend - this is fact - choice is to believe it or skip it

Assuming there is nothing wrong with your medicals or security check/PCC you are almost 100% to get the visa.

This statement, "These are the last applications we will accept under the current system before Express Entry launches in January 2015." on the CIC website may be interpreted differently. However, there is no mention of FSWP 2014 being a one year program. It is possible that FSWP 2014 will close when EE opens in January, 2015. Hence, CIC is working at a faster pace to process all applications.
