Thanks Indresh... I visited the PSK website and the appointment date availability is one month from now.. Is there a process for Walk In at ITO New Delhi office..

Did anyone visited without appointment for PCC at PSK, ITO, New Delhi.

Buddy if you take the print out of the email which you received for PCC to the PSK, they will consider that and you would not need any appointment. Just tell that this is urgent case and you need to in a day or two.

PSK is the fastest I can think of to get PCC. Its just the front desc guys you need to convince and you are in. You will get PCC next day.

Thank you for providing valuable information on this thread, this is the only thread where anyone can get all the details related to FSW 2014. I have a question, hope someone can answer. Requesting you not to irritate if it's a repost, I'm new to this forum and couldn't track all 5k+ pages.

I am ready to file my application with all the required docs (WES, IELTS, Work Exp etc). I have total 10 years of work experience which includes 1 year as entry programmer, 3 years as Data Analyst/junior DBA role, 6 years as System Consultant/Analyst. As per my experience, I am planning to apply in NOC 2171 (IT/System Analyst) but as per CIC website 233 PERs are already issued (till may 28th or may end per this forum), so I'm a bit dicey about this NOC. I can also apply for 2172 (DBA) as I've more than 1 year experience in this role and there are very few PERs issued in this NOC.

Is it possible to apply in 2171 primary and 2172 secondary preference? Will CIC issue PER in second NOC if first NOC is already capped?

apply only for one noc. there were reports that putting 2 noc codes in one application caused rejection.

No, you cannot mention secondary NOC in application package to decide for CIC whether cap has reached to primary NOC or not.
But it is legal to send two applications separately with different primary NOCs with separate fees and documents. (WES and IELTS reports original).

If you wish to nominate two NOC, you have to send in two separate packages. Only one primary NOC can be nominated in one application package. You need to have all the documents in two sets.

I have a question. I received my PER 18th August and waiting for MR from NDVO.

since I have visitor visa to canada, can I go there now and do medicals in canada and then send passport to ndvo when they want it?

If so, then after passport gets visa, do i need to move out of canada and get back in?

-Yes... you can travel with your visitor visa. no issues whatsoever

-Yes.... you need to cross the border to get your landing formalities done. The easiest would be, if you have US visa, just cross the border and come back again and do your landing formalities for Canada to get your PR card via post.

I have one more question. The person who prepared the application for me, whatever there was a question about last 10 years of employment she CUT the beginning date to the current month. For example. My employment was from
2002-10 to 2007-07
she put on application:
2004-05 to 2007-07 - she was providing exactly 10 years by cutting the date (I sanded the first application in May)
Is it something what needs to be done?
Which was to go?

the same problem I have with addresses, should I cut as of 2004-09 or put the latest what included this date ...??

Please advise

P.S. I still don't know how to give rating +1, I was told that should have something under name - Good - but under name I don't see anything like this...

That should not be a problem; if you have an experience which starts from 2002-10; you can definitely enter that as well. The last 10 years is the minimum clause and same goes for address. My point is that when you will share the documents which show your work experience they will have the start date as 2002-10 not 2004-05; so go ahead with the original dates.

I have done the same (not with the work experience because I don't have a job which starts in 2002; however with the addresses I have listed the one which starts in 1990 and goes on till 2007); the reason is my documents are going to state the same dates.

One more thing; I believe some forms have updated versions which are slightly different from the ones which you might have used in your first application. Please do check the weblink http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/skilled.asp

Keep clarifying on the forum before you resend; and hope some seniors like ashif_ee, century & more can give you better answers & insights.

I am not sure whether it is legal to send Passport from Canada to India while you are in Canada, some claims that they have done that by sending passport with relatives etc. Please make sure with embassy before doing so.

I think yes, you have to transit because earlier you will be on visit visa and then later on PR.

These are just thoughts, others may disagree on this.

Yes I did.

However I had the online generated receipt. Do not pay online. It's an easy peasy process.

Is any information for you different from the information in the passport? Like getting married (esp. if you are a female or address change)

Thanks for the info.. In the meantime I called PSK customer care number and they told me the same thing.. I should go with all the docs and generated ARN No. receipt print out and can pay there only.. Also they said that Walk in timings is 9:30 AM to 11:30 PM..

I was in US last year and my passport got expired so I have my passport with my US address with place of issue as Chicago.. My current residence address is same as that of the address mentioned (Delhi) in my wife's passport.. In my expired passport there is another Delhi address..
Hope I will get the PCC in a day.. I have Aadhar Card, DL, Voter ID Card, Government Bank Address all with the same address as that of my wife's passport address Hope all this helps..

private couriers(fedex,dhl) will never deliver to po box anyway.

DHL and Fedex do deliver to PO Boxes in Canada I sent it to the PO box address by mistake already through both courier service

Nope not that I can recollect buddy. If he has worked in UK he should have some doc, like visa letter etc right... Just to support the case, if in case it goes for scrutiny. But hey I guess he should submit app and hope for best.

He has a Visa, but it is Tier 1 General, hence there would not be any documents pertaining to employment. However, appreciate your effort to help. Thanks a ton for that. I will tell him to contact his company and get the reference letters atleast original ones.
