Yes buddy, I just got my DD (about half an hour ago ). Went to an empty SBI NRI Branch in Jubilee Hills, they processed in half an hour. Manager also told me that they've been processing many Canada DD for "The receiver general for canada". Increased my confidence manifold

Thanks a ton for the suggestion to go to SBI, saved so many hassles. Monday my package will be out, and 25th it'll be with CIC! Amen!

Can you suggest what was the PURPOSE mentioned on A2 form for the DRAFT?

I could not find any PURPOSE matching IMMIGRATION APPLICATION. What did you fill, please inform the PURPOSE CODE.

Basically after PER is more waiting until your file gets transferred to your Visa office where they do some more checking and then requests medicals etc.

Totally worth trying.

Be wary of courier you use as well. FedEx or UPS for a faster & most importantly quickly updated delivery.

any particular reason why DHL shouldn't be used. I had used it to send wes docs and the package got delivered in 4 days??

Friends i need help regarding WES process.

I send document to WES but they rejected by saying that documents were signed by Senior Administrative officer not attested by Controller of Examination or Registrar office.

When i talked to my university they said authorized person from university for this is only Senior Administrative officer.

I emailed WES many times but have not got any good reply from them, i also tried to call them but no use.

What should i do now?

Can anyone suggest?

Out of these 11 pending applications of May 26, i am one of them. No news.............. :'(

If i send email to CIC today even, i will only get a response in 3 - 4 weeks. Does anyone know an easier/ faster way to communicate with them to find out where my file is stuck.

Pls advise seniors - i am absolutely on PANIC MODE..............................

It took 3 months. I guess there was no background check in my case. My company didnt get any inquiry call from CIC.

How many days FedEx or UPS will take to deliver? For WES i used Worldnet and it deliver in 4 days/

FOR INTERNATIONAL DD made by HDFC Bank India, what is the PURPOSE of the remittance to be mentioned on the FORM A2?

I could not find something matching to IMMIGRATION APPLICATION. Anyone please help. Bank official is dumbo, tried explaining him but he said your 'REASON is not in the list given by RBI'. ??? ???

I am in process of getting DD right now, so some quick help is appreciated mates!

Dear Friends,

Govt. of Oman refused to issue a visa to my wife due to a previous overstay of 02 months and 20 days from 2014-03-26 to 2014-06-18. Should I mention this in Question 6 (e) of Schedule A - background/Declaration Form or Not? If I mention, will it affect our application. I am really worried.

do not hide,
trust me this OVER STAY and visa refusal will not affect your application in anyway.
even the assessing Visa Officers appreciate honesty.

but if you hide at this stage......then even if you get PR and then , at any stage, if the cic come to know that you misrepresented then they would cancel your PR and even in the case of citizenship, they will cancel your citizenship.

so go ahead and tell the truth!
