Here is my question:
Can I pay online using this pay your fees on the cic website and print the receipt then send it to my visa office or you really need a bank draft to send to the visa office?

Hi All,

I have couple of question regarding FSW application.

1.I received my medical request. Is PCC request is after the medical request?
2. The Canada website say "The certificate must be issued no more than three months before you apply" My PCC is about 5 month when I applied.Do I need to get a new PCC.

That's strange. Is the Cairo visa office closed? Are all applications from Egypt being transferred to CPC?

I dont have birth-certificate for self & spouse & was planning to submit LC.
I just noticed that on my SSC marksheet or school LC, parents name are not present.
is school Leaving certificate still can be presented in place of birth certificate ?

School Leaving certificate, which has your name, Parents name and DOB is acceptable
In addition, you should submit an Affidavit from you and your Spouse, that you don't have a BC.
Sample Affidavit is as below
A F F I D A V I T


I, YOUR NAME, resident of YOUR ADDRESS do solemnly declare and affirm
as follows:

1. That I am citizen of COUNTRY and I was born to Mr. FATHER'S NAME and Mrs. MOTHER'S NAME on
D.O.B at CITY, STATE, COUNTRY

2. That my father’s complete name is Mr.FATHER'S NAME and my mother’s complete name is
Mrs. MOTHER'S NAME . Both are citizens of COUNTRY NAME.

3. That I am providing this affidavit in order to verify my birth details, as I don’t have Birth
Certificate, as my birth was not registered with relevant authorities and I was not issued
any Birth Certificate at the time of my Birth.

4. That I am submitting a copy of SCHOOL LEAVING CERTIFICATE with
certificate number XXXXXXXX. Names of my parents, Date of Birth is duly registered in
these documents.

5. That I make this affidavit in support of my application for Permanent Residency of
Canada and request that in lieu of birth certificate, my affidavit with Shool leaving certificate be
accepted as proof of my date of birth in lieu of birth certificate.


AND I make this solemn Declaration conscientiously believing it to be true, and knowing that it is of the same force and effect as if made under oath.

bravo1990 - I think this is VO dependent, but I may be wrong. I am with CPC-Ottawa, and I was asked to pay my fees on this website: https://eservices.cic.gc.ca/epay/welcome.do?lang=en Once you do that you will get a PDF receipt that I have to send to my VO i.e. CPC-Ottawa

You do not seem to provide any details about yourself e.g. if you got PER or not, and when. If there is a lot of time for them to process, you can consider just emailing the CIO. Otherwise consider mailing/faxing http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/offices/canada/sydney.asp (Click Economic Classes) . Yes I think it is the same address - but this assumes your file is with them. If not, then you need to send it to the VO that you indicated.

I'm sorry I did not realize it. However at the end of it you should get a receipt that you attach with your application.
