Use this link - I think might be the way to do that:

https://dmp-portal.cic.gc.ca/enquiries-renseignements/canada-case-cas-eng.aspx

Although there is one CSE link specific for NDVO, but I am not sure if there is similar specific link for CPC-O. Until then just try sending using this one. Cheers!!!

PS - Please read through the instructions on the page, as I have not read them.

Thank you Oscar7. I was not aware of this. I'm sorry I cannot give you an additional +1 this week.

Yes you are correct about CPC-O as well. I have personal experience with it. They replied to me within 24 hours.

Thank you Goku for chiming in. It's good to know that they replied to you in 24 hours, because mine is a few days. May be because it is case specific they are taking time.

My Application Date :12 May
CC : 30 July
PER : 22 Aug.
NOC :2171.

I have not received any communication after getting PER mail , like VO Processing started ... Medical etc .
Worried Seniors please advise .......

I too did not receive anything after PER till one day I got my MR. Even now there is no indication that file transfer or VO Processing started .... just directly MR. I think you should at least wait a month after PER to expect MR. By the way which is your VO. Some VOs are really slow.

So, what I know is that they sort email within in 24 hours, and allocate/forward is to appropriate department. It because sometimes PA is told to send additional documents on same email which we also use for general queries.

:) Man, Didn't allow me to give you a +1, though I don't recall when I last gave that to you lol. I guess I need to eat almonds :P

Sometimes I feel that this whole almond thing is a myth. :P Anyways +1 given as I owed you one.

Thank you Oscar7 I'm curious to know how to make a case specific inquiry i.e. I thought I would get a case specific email to communicate with the VO once I get the MR. I just got the MR, but there is no case specific email. Thanks again.

The CIC website says this:

Use this CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca e-mail to ask CPC-O about a Permanent Resident case.
After you have sent your e-mail, you will receive an automatic message acknowledging that we have received your question. This message will be sent to the e-mail address that you entered. If you do not receive this message within 24 hours, then it may be in your junk mail box or you may have entered your email address incorrectly.

HI ,

My Application at CIC got received on 16th may for 2132 category .

Have not Heard anything from there end can anyone give a rough estimate when is likely to hear things from there end as its 4 months over waiting to hear from their end.

thanks

@abhipan

I am also a 20th May applicant without any response from CIO yet.

The wait is traumatic, especially when people that submitted after you got charged.

Have sent any mail to CIO?

hello everyone!

can we say for sure that the caps on the CIC page are the PERs issued?

Also in the last 3-4 weeks the caps on CIC seems to be moving faster?

thanks

To add another perspective to it...what if CIC update the numbers based on completeness of application rather than cc/dd charge or PER
That will give us an optimistic calculation...bcos it will indicate half of june applications as well (before cc/dd stage)

If we just look at one time point, then this calculation is sound. But the "factor" part tends to vary a bit every week. So the estimated date of cap fill might vary a little too, but overall this is an eye-opener. Good job!

Thank you Goku My question was specific to my case, so I think that's why they are taking time.

I sent an email to email address you mentioned i.e. it was the same one I got my MR from. However I did not get the automatic message acknowledging receipt. I checked my junk folder (or trash as gmail calls it). Also I directly hit reply, so I am sure I entered my email correctly.

Normally your VO would be whatever you specified on your application. If you want to change that you can contact the CIO-Sydney, where I assume your application is. If you have got your PER, then there is a bit of uncertainty.

Both CPC-O and NDVO seem to be fast, so unlike others e.g. who are under SGVO, you don't have much motivation to switch the VO. However if you are going to be in Canada for a while, you should switch - I think. At some point you would have to submit your passport. Since you are an Indian, you cannot send it out of the country i.e. Canada. So you might as well switch it now.
