AOR: Acknowledgement of received

Some VO send e-mail to applicants the confirmation that it received the applicant's file. NDVO don't issue AOR but some other VO does like SGVO.

What is AOR by local VO in the sheet? How can we come to know that?

Congratulation. It is really unusual that DD get encashed after 3 months though validity written as 3 month.

+1 for this information. Pls get enlisted into spreadsheet.

@ Future applicants: if you see 3-month validity, pursue bank to get it 6-month.

Thanks Century. +1 to you too. I remember someone from the forum had quoted a few weeks back that whatever is written on the DD, it doesn't matter. International DDs are by default valid for 6 months. I will update spreadsheet soon (on mobile now).

Hi oscar...hw r u. Why these ppl are making us to wait for MR. All recent applicants got MR. But few are waiting only with ecas statud update. There is any reason?. Whats your status? MR received or not?. Is there any partiality with some NOC

Don't worry you will get it soon, every case is different and VO is different, may be some VO's process files one at a time and others processing multiple files at a same time..... Just my opinion, don't know how correct.

I am new to this forum. Can senior comment on the priority of application processing?

Does processing of application depends upon the points claimed by applicant? Say if somebody has 5 points more than other, will his/her application be processed faster to receive PER etc.????

Dear senior members,

Kindly suggest.

At the time of application to NS CIO, I submitted my POF as fixed deposit certificates, which were getting mature in start of 6 Aug 2014. Then once my fixed deposit get matured, I had to renew them. So obviously new fixed deposit certificates has new number on them (Different from what i sent). I have already received my PER on 21 Aug 2014.

Do you think this can create any problem? What should I do in this case, as PER says dont send documents unless requested.

Hello buddy...My company had written very non-descriptive duties & after several requests they still gave me a basic duties what u mentioned. so i sent an email to CIC confirming if i fall under any NOC. They replied as below:
As per their reply i see that they not only check ur skill type but skill level as well. Skill type means type of work and skill level means education.
Also mention, however the NOC does recognize the fact that most jobs require multitasking or performing more than one duty. As a result there is a 51% rule that can be used as a guideline. Simply put, 51% of the job functions must be contained in the main duties of the selected NOC description.
