The fastest way to get your stamping done would be to raise a CSE with New York Visa Office once you receive the Passport Request. NDVO never even replied to my CSE. I got my Passport back with stamp in 12 days from New York.

You can send the info at the address mentioned (take off the PO Box line). Additionally, you can also raise a Case Specific Enquiry (CSE) to update the Visa Office about any change.
