You can either think that money is an investment for canada or u may use credit card for second application. If u get PER for 1st app just block the cc and save money. But its just an advice it depends on u how much risk u want to take as only PER does not guarantee PR. so call is urs.

But, I don't think we can let both applications go till last stage. At some stage, we have to choose even if we are willing to shed extra money. If second application (mine) gets PER, we want to proceed with this and recall the first application for some personal reasons. At this stage, I am not sure, if that is possible at all.. I will file mine by mid-oct, my husband had filed in July end and hence two apps would have 2.5 months gap..

If you have to withdraw 1st app then undoubtedly u will have to loose money. You may withdraw ur app at[size=10pt] any stage[/size] by writing to ur local vo. But wait till PER, atleast for the second application before u withdraw 1st app.

Dear friends,

two concerns about the proof of funds

1. Should I send the original letters issued from the bank or copies will suffice? Copies are sufficient but better to send Originals (i have sent Originals only)
2. My wife also have a bank account in her name and her dad's home address. Can I use the statement from that as well?Your Wife bank account statement or balance certificate with any address is perfectly fine. But entire funds should be only on your wife name (better to have a joint account if entire funds are in wife's name
