Saps said:if your present company has acquired or bought out your previous company, then they should be able to provide your job details from that company as well. Coz in your case, its still continued employment. It can be in a single letter for each period of work in the letter, especially if the NOC's / job duties are different. If not differnet, then just mention single set of job duties for the entire 3-5 years in the letter.
You can draft the letter, which you HR/manager, can reproduce... and in that letter mention "working with us from start date .... (as part of acquisition from XXXX) and has held the following designations with following compensations and performing the job duties as listed below....
I have same case, and my HR obliged in giving me this kind of letter, without any issue.

Thanks a lot for information provided by you SAP. Actually My Situation is like Original Company Name is A, Acquired by B company. After company is acquired by B, The name on the letter head changes from A to AB. The B company has another company by Name BC. Now we are under the company Name BC.. so the Actual Company is B and it acquired our company A and name changes from A to BA and then we resigned from BA and join the company BC which is also the company of B. I think at that time HR told us that as this two company names are different so you have to resign from one company and then join the other company of the same company. please help Same Company has two different branc companies and both branch companies have different name and resigned from the 1st branch company and joined another branch company. in this case also the Referenc letter of HR of current company will be valid explaing the job and duties of my 1st branch company.
your and Team Members advice is very valuable. please help on this
