Hey brother! How did you get 9th May post It should get have got buried under 100s posts.

No, sharing is not fault.

File transfer is one of the confusing issue. File is transferred as soon as PER is issued. So you can say PER = File Transfer.

However, AOR means the sending file has been received by the VO. Some VO do issue AOR and some don't. From this year, New Delhi is not issuing. So if someone update File Transfer/AOR from New Delhi applicants, other applicants also get confused.

This is why I was asking confirmation from the applicants who update it in the spreadsheet. It is nothing personal - just trying to keep the integrity of the data in the spreadsheet.

Seeking a view!

My application was delivered on 11-Aug, but I forgot to attach one important document, so as advised the additional doc was sent with cover letter followed by email, and same delivered at CIC on 28-Aug.

In order to avoid taking any chances, I prepared & dispatched second set of complete application, and the same was delivered on 10-Sep.

Now, as of today CIC have 2 set of applications for the same NOC, what do guys think, will it be any negative impact on my case? If they accept my first set application, then what they will do with the second set.

Please share your thought and understanding.

Someone on this forum reported that his second application of the same noc was returned without being reviewed as there was no explaination/cover letter attached stating the reason for filing second application in the same noc. If u have sent a cover letter with new application there is no problem.
If ur first app is accepted and second is returned there should not be a problem. I hope you have requested a confirmation of inclusion of Additional document in the email that you have sent. If you have not done that u should redraft a new mail and requdst them to disregard/ignore earlier mail and confirm the inclusion of documents u have recently sent.

IMM 5406 (Names in Native Language)

A couple of very helpful senior members have stated today the if we don't send the IMM 5406 with attachment on names in Native language; it isn't much of a concern.

I guess they are most probably correct. However I believe if CIC has asked for something one must not take any chances (I wouldn't).

can you please let me know where do I have to key in the name on hindi. I mean which tab of the form cause it only says one tab for name???

Received my PER today!!!

May 22nd applicant, NOC 2174. SS updated.

I'm using the services of Campbell Cohen as consultants, and made my payment through them. I believed they enclosed a DD with the application, but my PER acknowledges a credit card payment, so I changed this information accordingly. I do not know when the CC was charged, though.

That's what i heard too.

But his consultant was saying that after getting refusal email, you will not get your package back and not even DD too.

He wants to put file again and he was told that he has to do his DD again to put file again.

and this time he doesn't need to send entire package. This time he only needs to send the pending documents .

is that true ?

If his file got rejected at the very intial checks before processing then he'll get the DD back else if processing had begun then they won't return the DD.

But this also raises other questions on the competency or rather incompetency of the consultant too. Did he mention what was the exact reason for rejection? I feel it is a big risk to again go with the same consultant.

This also depicts another scenario on the uselessness of majority of consultants.

It's truly demoralizing to check one's email and ECAS every half-an-hour everyday and not find the magic email or the status update.

In my life everything has gotten delayed - seems like this one will, too!
