two concerns about the proof of funds

1. Should I send the original letters issued from the bank or copies will suffice?
2. My wife also have a bank account in her name and her dad's home address. Can I use the statement from that as well?

Job duties are must if u have to claim points for that job... it can be either from ur supervisor or hr. You have posted this concern too late on this forum. But still you may get a reference letter stating ur job duties in each position held with period worked in each position in line with the noc u have applied. Working hours/ stating that u are a full time employee. Annual salary. With name contact no email etc of the person issuing that letter. Send that letter with a cover letter with a request to include new reference letter to ur original application. Mention ur all details full name, passport no. Dob country application filling date waybill number received by and received time etc. So they can easily identify u and ur application.
Send them a email today mentiining that u are sending additional docs through courior today also send new couriour details and send a scanned copy of ur new letter ( thiugh they dont accept dcuments sent over mail ) for their reference.

Thanks for your prayers ! No, I'm not on the SS, and I'm intentionally not on it. At the moment, I fail to see the point of entering my info in the spreadsheet as the status my application (application received at CIO) has no information of relevance to any other forum members. I cant even find out if my payment has been charged (I paid by demand draft, so there's no way I can find out if my payment has been charged).

I'll update the SS as soon as I get my payment charged or get a PER.

We can't be cool as I don't know you! ;D.

If you're nervous that your application does not have a cover letter, don't worry about it. No where on the CIC website does it say that applicants need to submit a cover letter for FSW '14, so you should be fine.

Do we need to forfeit fees if both files reach local VO? My husband has already applied and now we are in process of filing second application with me as principal applicant.. If both of us get PER, at what stage CIC/local VO will ask us to choose one?

You can either think that money is an investment for canada or u may use credit card for second application. If u get PER for 1st app just block the cc and save money. But its just an advice it depends on u how much risk u want to take as only PER does not guarantee PR. so call is urs.

The wait is so painful and unbearable if not for the help and motivation on this forum.

Request the diamond-hearted forumites to guesstimate the probable dates for different stages for my application to PR:
DD charge (I know from the spreadsheet 26-Oct to 14-Nov), PER, Medical request, interview, PCC and any other steps till PR.

CONGRATS guys who have received PER/MR/PPR

Dear palak, it means they almost done processing(sending per) for may month. and they take 3.5 month to complete as there is too much application in the may month.
is there any chances that the processing time for the june, july and august applicant will be lesser as compared to may month due to less application?
My application received on 13 august(noc 2232), if i add 90 working day to this, i will get per in end of December ?(but i wish early before my birthday)

I mean to say they take 3.5 month for clearing very large amount of application and if the application are less in the month of june july aug. time will be lesser than 3.5 month from the date of receiving application.

Please tell my what you think about this.

No nothing written.No Validity Stamp. I was worried reading a lot of post about 3 month validity, hence started following up with ICICI officials.The confirmed it is valid for 3 months .

Infact my argument with the top management is ,if it is valid for 3 months, why is it not mentioned on the DD. Hence it should be extended to 6 Months, Which the are just not accepting to do.
