About my sons passport renewal.. Now they have asked to send hard copy :'(
I should courier them or wait another wk for any med req???

u r correct CC and DD, both are fine, but safest is DD, that's what i meant.
they are cases observed where due to CC failure file got rejected.

Anyways ur NOC is not Hot, u can arrange DD and play a safe shot, i recommend DD.
all folks here would advice the same.

i was planning the same way, but as now u raised, its bit confusing for me.

Just one question: I have 45 days to submit all. FBI Clearance is still not in.. (received at FBI on 10th Sep) ..NDVO do extend deadline if you request more time yeah ??

Palak is right!

The thing is, CC is fine as long as the payment is not denied by the bank to CIC, after a number of attempts CIC sends the application back. In fact in this forum there are many cases where people reported that during the waiting period there were changes made to their CC. There was this one odd case where the bank had issued a new CC to the applicant because of some new RBI guidelines, these things can complicate. Not always but sometimes.

However a DD is free of all those issues; the only issue is that the DD processing time is longer.

My docket for NOC 1123 has reached CIC on 13th August, 2014 and as part of the docket, i have included the PCC which was issued on 9th June. Do you think we will be required to get the PCC again? BTW what is the validity of PCC issued in New Delhi?

Pcc will be valid for a year...
If they need they will ask to send pcc again...
