The words 'very, very stressful' were not really required below! This is a VERY simple case, as per my thoughts!

Just explain like you did below in a cover letter why that name is different without using the word 'idiot' preferably lol

That will suffice, if they need more information they can ask at VO stage. But if you want to take extra precaution you can make an affidavit out of that, that's nothing but the same declaration on a stamp paper I believe. Cheers!!

You can transfer all your fund into a single account with your name only...take the balance certificate from the bank and send it.

balance certificate is a very good option and second one is Fixed Deposit.

Hello all, thanks for all the helpful info.my husband is the primary applicant and we plan on applying for 2281. We are awaiting ielts result and eca report. i have gone through his reference letters and although his duties are a good match, I personally think they are filled with too much technical jargon and only mention a few key words. It may be difficult getting another set of letters. Should he write a letter explaining the technical jargon and showing how they fit 2281?

Guys some help needed...

During this time i was blessed with a baby.
I want to include him in the application. The mail asks to inform the visa office of any changes in the application but havn't provided any id.

1.) Should i reply to the PER mail or to NDVO (mail id needed) ?
2.) I changed my address and wife's surname also during this time. Will this affect/delay/cancel the application process ?
3.) or Should I wait for MR request to give above details ?

Difficult to answer without seeing the actual reference letter. Generally technical terms ARE good. The more specific and detailed the letter is the better. You mentioned few key words...compared to what? and how few?
